1st episode of urs tht i watched just becz of an urge to listen and learn more about Buddhism. I did Vipssana, a purest form and Buddha's way of meditation & my life changed....since then i study more about Buddhism, seen a lot of monks, know tht u get superpowers if u meditate properly but still all monks are down to earth becz... Buddha never allowed monks to misguide normal humans toward der powers but to make them live with compassion,love ,kindness ,and live a life without sufferings.
2hr i was not planning to invest but i did as it was very interesting to listen tht conversation.

Ranveer's understanding on sanatan dharm is very poor, is what i can say from this podcast... sanatan dharm does have the concept of universal welfare and that's why we pray "सर्वे जनाः सुखिनः भवन्तु, सर्वे सन्तु निरामयाः..." Ranveer, Can you study Theravada Buddhism which exist in Sri Lanka , Burma , Thailand etc. ?. It is talking about Everything happens according to 'Cause and effect (results)' and NO-self (Can not take it (body & mind) as self and it is a possess which cannot controlled by my self ) . also Buddhism teaches of worldly matters and personal emotional world has 3 characteristics --- impermanence ( Anithya ) , Suffering ( Dukkha ) and No-self ( Anattha ) --- Also try to learn Buddhist concepts like Four noble Truth . Dependent Origination . Six Sensory Faculties and its process , Five clinging aggregates arise with in the mind , Mind and Matter and so on

Hi Ranveer, can u do a podcast with Gagan Malik ( in continuation with the Buddhism series only) … he, having to portrayed vishnu avatar as Rama , what qualities and attributes and features of Buddhism he liked which eventually made him to accept Buddhism from Hinduism. The topic becomes much more interesting because —-1. It is believed lord Buddha is also one of the avatar of lord vishnu, 2. What were Gangans own inner spiritual quotient and mechanisms were telling regarding religion and that tipping point when he shifted from one religion to another. 3. When it is belived that sanatan dharma has similar forms as in Jainism, Buddhism … what was his realisation telling him….after having to deep dwell in both sides

Also - try to get spiritual gurus on ur show to speak of om Parvati mountain because - by nature alone the snow forms the Sanskrit OM sign so wid b nice to know what elightened PPL think of it.

The mantra is pure Sanskrit so pronounce it correctly. & Understand it.
Aum- pronounced OM Sanskrit Grammer rules - the aah sound , oo sound turn into 1 sound o no engkish equal because here the sound works with the position of the tongue wrt the entire inside of the mouth & lips. OM is the primordial sound of creation & Brahman. It is the cosmic heartbeat .
Mani - jewel
Padmi - lotus flower
Hum - I , me
The mantra can be read as I am that jewel in the lotus that transcends to merge with Brahman. Or I recognize the jewel of the lotus is the sacred sound OM. The words can be interpreted according to the reciters understanding & intent.
