Children deserve the right to be shown online if that is what they wish. The ONLY issue with these specific family channels is that the children rarely wish to do it. It is the parents forcing them to. There are some amazing family channels that showcase the children in CORRECT families, being parented properly, and with the kids not breaking down into tears every other video. There are also many CHILDREN OWNED AND RAN channels and even websites, specifically to encourage other kids to express themselves safely and in a positive way online.

One of the channels that I admit I did watch some was the Norris Nuts, who constantly exploit their children, especially the oldest daughter. The oldest daughter ( who I don't recall the name of) has a development issue to where basically she doesn't age right. She was a tween when she was diagnosed with this and it is constantly used in videos. The main thing with her is that she wants to grow boobs, but can't. Many times in videos she is shown putting socks in her shirt and just doing everything to make herself seem more physically mature, and the parents treat it as almost a joke when to her it is a big deal. Another thing I feel like mentioning is that this family is VERY well money wise. Their father is an Olympic swimming medalist who owns his own indoor pool building (which means lots of videos of the children swimming!)

As a mum my son might only be 11 months old but I couldn't imagine putting his face for millions to see. Kids are vulnerable and as parents its our job and responsibility to protect them. Seeing these clips I seriously believe some of these parents have something wrong with them.

I don’t remember the channel name but when I was younger I watched a family vlog channel that would blur out their children’s faces. They would explain that a lot of details about their children were hidden because their children simply didn’t want to share that Information and because it was for their children’s safety. I remember another family channel that just didn’t show one of their kids as a whole because the child didn’t want to be in the channel at all. Another one had videos being taken down every so often because a child didn’t want the video to be up. I was really obsessed with family vlog channels when I was younger and I believe those were the only 3 channels that respected their children how they should be. The majority of channels I watched were horrible. I really wish I could remember the names of the channels that were good but I can’t. If I ever do I’ll try to remember to edit this comment
