Oh my God that old dude I've had the exact same thing happened I have a thyroid issue which can cause basically the same thing but in reverse from diabetes. It's only happened to me a couple of times I apparently started to take my cloths off and talk nonsense. And when I cop came I only looked at him. I don't remember any of it. Apparently I was almost arrested for being high, until someone called an ambulance. Got a glucose shot and poof wide awake. Dident even realize I wasn't alseep on the couch anymore. I stumbled for 5 blocks before someone stopped me
ОтветитьTed grabbing the couple's luggage from the train always gets me. It's not always about the interventions we make or the medications we administer... sometimes it's the small things like locking their door or grabbing their luggage.
ОтветитьProbably a little rude to double-fist hurricanes in NO lol
ОтветитьWhen Angie apologized to the paramedics my heart broke a little
ОтветитьThis why I want to become an ems for those who don’t speak another language 😊
ОтветитьHer ears are gonna give me nightmares
ОтветитьMy hats off to the EMTs the law enforcement and new Orleans fire dept thank you for your service
ОтветитьVic
ОтветитьI love Angie
Ответитьim from nebraska, so the when the last guy said 'i was born and raised in nebraska, i ain't seen nothing different', i REALLY felt that
ОтветитьSeeing dude Naruto run to swing music had me dying lol
ОтветитьFor anyone wondering, the first man that had low blood sugar was most likely in diabetes ketoacidosis. Which means his blood sugar was way too low, and could actually make you smell like you’ve been drinking. Whether he was drinking a lot, I have no clue. But it’s crazy that diabetes can make you smell like alcohol.
ОтветитьThey really need some sorta translator phone in the truck with them so they could understand people like this guy better just for things like this.
ОтветитьEMTs taking a free moment to dance in the street... there is no place like NOLA!!
ОтветитьI wonder, do you have a rum called Bundaberg rum? It's made in Bundaberg in Queensland Australia. It's a popular drink. Often with coke. Personally, I don't like it.
ОтветитьThere is something really funny about this guy having just been stabbed in the neck, saying he is totally fine, to then flinch over an IV people put in, like sir..? lol
ОтветитьNah I need to know more about the neck stabbing, who stabbed who first??.
ОтветитьAs an Australian a paramedic would never dare call you any type of name apart from your own I wanna visit New Orleans with a bunch of toys for the paramedics to give out to kids I’d be swooning over that accent left right and centre
ОтветитьI can’t believe they speak Spanish I am one of best doctors in the world
ОтветитьI honestly felt so bad for that mother of three. She obviously needed a break and she just wanted to have fun, which clearly led to a little too much fun. But the Emts were unbelievably sweet and kind. It pulled on my heartstrings when she kept apologizing!
ОтветитьI love his deep voice.
ОтветитьYou can try drinking the town dry but the city is gonna win
Ответить“- it’s just like a break from reality being in this ambulance…. I’m gonna throw up now.”
ОтветитьI miss holly and nick they were a good team😕
ОтветитьIf you smell alcohol on a patient but they blow a 0.0—you’re not smelling alcohol. You’re smelling ketones. They may be going into DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis) which is dangerous & can be deadly!! Call an ambulance immediately!!!
ОтветитьHis names' not William, nor Brah. He's a national treasure, famous writer Mark Twain!
ОтветитьAchohol commonly can lower diabetics blood sugar. That’s why we always need to eat with it and keep checking
ОтветитьWhy don't the EMT'S have a language translation program on a phone or tablet in their vehicles?
Ответитьgod i hate holly so bad she’s so annoying
ОтветитьHow are you doing edibles and then drinking what are you thinking that has to be the worst combo imaginable
ОтветитьLmao Nick and Holly kill me, bc they’re so much like my boss I worked with in Landscaping! Hundreds of hours in a 3 seater truck and I sang all the time! We laughed, we joked, we developed an awesome relationship and were able to get through our days as best as we could doing what we did in 80-100* or cold AF, bc it was in Georgia!
ОтветитьBlood sugar level is low and some one had not checked on him and didn’t tell him that his blood sugar was low
ОтветитьWhy aren't the police on patrol to help the emts smh
ОтветитьEmts should use Google translate it may help them
ОтветитьThe A-Fib part hits close to home, since I've just been diagnosed with it. Very scary.
ОтветитьI love the Naruto run while they're giggling like a bunch of goofballs 😂
ОтветитьYou could smell the Alcohol when you rolled up on scene.
ОтветитьDownnnnn got me 😂
Ответитьthese paramedics are the reason i wanna do EMS
Ответить“Change of pace” 😂he got a change of pace he didn’t want. 😢 poor guy hope he’s doing well now
ОтветитьI would never expect the beginning
ОтветитьThe process: 🕺🕺📞😮💨😒🚶🚶🚑🚨
Ответитьholly called that guy sweetie he’s probably too old for that
