The cast looks amazing, im hoping that the film makers will bring ermac, reptile, rain, kenshi, li mei, tanya, both chamelions, reiko, kira, frost, kotal, sheeva, ashrah, darrius, cyrax, sektor, havik, shinnok, cetrion, skarlet, smoke, shujinko, motaro and dvorah in either the second film or a potential third.

The casting is perfect except for Johnny Cage. With all the hype surrounding him after the 1st movie they didnt even take their time to cast him

I always think of fan-casting Evan Peters as Smoke for Mortal Kombat 2

The Cole character,Scorpion,Sub Zero characters sound change cause they're just not fitting the part especially that Cole what's he that character even doing in mortal kombat..Raiden as well could've been someone else more muscular looking to suit a God image ..and why got to be an asian actor ? could've look like the guy they cast for Shao Khan he looks Awesome he looks perfect for the part ( Gods look Utopian not really a particular ) ..but say what i can only watch not decided,hope this MK better than that other lame one with Cole and the shitty Scorpion my gosh that movie was a disappointment .

These casting choices are good but just by the outlook. If we are considering all-around factors I think the picks down below would be great.

Jo-taslim is Noob-saibot. not sub-zero. not resurrection. he's just a villain. 2nd sub-zero is bihan's younger brother quai-ryang. It seems that Yoshi-sudarso has decided to play Kwai-Liang, but I can't find a confirmed news article. Unlike his older brother Bi-han, younger brother Quai-liang is a good person who protects the Earth and protects humans.
