I watched this film yesterday and it has left quite an impression on me. I know I have watched it as a teenager in the 90's but only remember a glimpse of that. As an adult this film leaves its impact. There is so much in it, it needs to be watched again.

I absolutely love, love, love this song and iconic movie! I was greatly honored and blessed to play Reb Teve in a local theater group and got an award for best actor. Plus we sold out every single show! Ironically enough me and the actress playing Golda and I married and have three amazing children. Although she died of breast cancer three months ago. I remember watching the live stage musical of Fiddler on the Roof in 1966 in Sydney Australia

My mum was thrilled with the songs from the film & insisted my Dad & me go to the theatre & i REALLY didnt want to go....
I was 12yrs old & only listened to pop music
However i absolutely LOVED this musical!
The biggest memory of seeing it live was the male dancers in the wedding scene!

The stage shook & the floor puffed up swathes of dust as the dancers did their marvellous
Linking of arms & doing a kind of Russian style of male dancing!
I still see that scene on the stage so clearly & its 50 odd years later.

I sang every song from it, all the time! We got the Record LP from the film & i still love all of the songs!
Topol was a great actor & singer in the film & made it so real.
Thank you for this!
