Very Cool. Good luck with this video! Deep Research and o3 are my two favorite tools for research. Grok is decent for current events as well.

EXCELLENT video! I didn’t learn anything new, but as someone who has been using proprietary platforms and databases for over 50 years (Dialog, Orbit, BRS, NTIS, Compendex, INSPEC-anyone?), and as someone who blows through his 200+ Deep Research uses per month, that’s not surprising. However, it does allow me to comment with at least some authority that you did a great job.

I also use all the Deep Research clones: the original (which was Gemini, now at 2.5 Pro), DeepSearch/DeeperSearch/Think on Grok, “Research” on Perplexity, and some specialized tools like SciSpace’s DeepReview. Without question, OpenAI’s Deep Research is the best. Yet, is a Pro account worth it? For me, it is. For you, Elvis, I’m sure it is. But I suspect that for many users, a Plus account would be fine-especially if one were to get Gemini Advanced and SuperGrok accounts.

OpenAI Plus: $20/month
Gemini Advanced: $20/month
SuperGrok: $30/month

For $70/month, this might be the most effective combination.

I would also rate them in this order: OpenAI, Gemini, Grok. I've even run tests comparing their results using 3.7 Thinking -- and Claude always agrees with me! 😁

Note: Claude now offers similar functionality to their Max users (minimum of $100/month), but I can't justify the cost.
