slow down i couldent keep up

I have yet to try laying down with my Quest 3, nothing I have seems like I'd want to lay down. Though when working on my car, and I'm under it, changing the oil, when I start to look around giving a small visual inspection, I actually get queasy. I really don't know why, because if I lay down on the floor, or on my bed etc and look around nothing. Maybe its a slight claustrophobic thing? I can handle small room and areas no problem, so no real idea. I used to get VR sickness, nd probably will still get it here and there, but I have no idea if the two are even linked.

The good news so far is that Meta doesn’t seem to be enforcing the age restriction at least according to my friends. But still it could be a possibility.

Competition is great but some companies who create only premium-priced devices do more to prevent access to VR. As long as we have forward-thinking and pricing companies in play, good.

I really don't get their updates. I still haven't noticed any change to it remembering my rooms at all even though they said that would be fixed in v62.

Yesterday I noticed a big improvement in pass through and when I checked I saw that I have v64 installed. But as far as room mapping there is not the improvement where it can scan furniture. So far I can only add windows and doors, but no table or chairs.

Anyone elses multimodal missing in v64? mine was working in v63 but no longer in v64.

I have the v64 but have not tryed remapping my room as of yet but will try it now...

I would say this, coming from Vive, Quest 3 has absolutely amazing wireless, but it DOES require you to get yourself a hefty Wifi (go for a gaming router) of a higher class, preferably Wifi 6 or 6E, and you're good to go. No lag for you.

Having joined the PTC channel for Q3, I find getting the newest firmware faster, both beta as well as the actual final release

OMG people need to stop making their arguments public! This is what I hate about social media because people will say things they wouldn't say to someone in person.

VR headsets need to all have OLED displays! That's the only way to go for dark scenes in VR.

i have tried setting up my room after the v64 update and it didn't do anything.
i had to add any furniture, door and window manually

The cpu and processing should be attached to the back of the head, similarly as a battery in bobovr. The front of the set should be only visors and screen. This way, the producers of optics and producers of processing unit could cooperate, and you could just upgrade optics or just upgrade processing.

Isn't 8K beneficial because it's 8K for the entire 270-360 video?

Personally I'd like to see a bigscreen beyond with a higher ppd then I'll upgrade my quest 3 to something like that.

Try to get the Visor for a test, it is very interesting to know how suitable it really is for use, whether it is not much better than the third quest even for working with a PC..

I wasnt on v63 long, thank the gods, it had the worst framerates issues I’ve experienced on quest so far.
From what I can tell v64 has solved these issues.
And yes the AR does look marginally clearer but it didn’t blow my socks off, the way people were going on about it I expected iPhone camera quality

Need GTA port, sell headsets , VR blows up, other game dev companies go into panic.

Might just be me, but I feel like the light should have pancake lenses with slightly better specs to the he 2 but not 3, the lenses are the first thing you notice in general. Especially if the headset it supposed to be better but affordable. Idk maybe just me.

I have to try to rescan the room because for me never forgot the room setup :o

I just want an update where i can have multiple rooms remembered, so i don't have to do the roomscale setup every time.

I just got the v64 update today and don't have "Use apps while lying down" in my experimental section. However, at least I can check my phone much more easily now.

Crystal Light is delicious on a hot day.

That Crystal Light is a tempting addition to my sim rig. Crystal Light for racing and other seated experiences teamed with a Quest 3 for wireless would be an awesome combo.

I think mainstream will come when there are known triple A titles with great graphics like Call of Duty, GTA, and many others. It has to be something that pulls people away from consoles. I think the quest 3 is on the right track. It'll probably happen around quest 4 and a cheaper apple vision pro.

I saw in another Mystical video that you have to turn on Cloud storage in headset settings for rooms to remember rooms best.

My 2nd B100 battery just arrived today. So happy with BoboVR's products, the fan is just awesome!

My Quest 3 arrived last week and I've been having a complete ball with it. I was expecting good things upgrading from my HTC-Vive to it but my expectations were blown completely out of the water. It's an amazing headset and with the new v64 update, things are just better. Steamlink is amazing and I'm able to enjoy all my SteamVR games in excellent quality, I've also installed SideQuest on my pc and I've been playing around with some games with that(Doom 3 was awesome). All in all, I'm having the best time with this and finding it's a great way to enjoy my retirement.

Quest 2 gardian is better

My first VR headset was the Rift s and exposure to that software environment spoiled me for life. Oculus truly nailed the software consumer grade users wanted (multi-purpose, multi-functional) and it seems Meta are continuing on in this development frame. *** to Meta. I also own a Varjo Aero and from a hardware perspective the Aero is about the best there is at the moment but (besides the company political issues) the software is far too limiting for the consumer environment a total rewrite of the software and the Aero could leap back to the top of the vr mountain. Thats my thoughts anyway. Great news and keep up the great work JB. Ps v64 downloaded for me last night a testing we will go lol

Lie down mode was cool for watching videos like you said, unfortunately it seems to affect normal use too. I found it tilted my view a few degrees when playing red matter or 7th guest making it a bit disorientating. Had to disable it, redraw and set floor level and reset the view to fix it. Just resetting the view didn't work.
