This knowledge is life saving. I recently had an issue with my eyes. I had been blowing leaves out of the carport and some debris flew up around my face & eyes. I thought I had closed my eyes in time to protect them but unfortunately by that evening it was clear I had an eye problem. Using the knowledge of herbal medicine I was able to treat my eyes an resolve the problem in just a few days. I used colloidal silver, euphrasia eye drops and compresses of mullen, stinging nettle, plantain, dandelion and comfrey. All were soothing and gave relief from the discomfort. comfrey sounds like a bamboo tree that was planted way too close to my home before I purchased it. Once I got settled, I decided to remove the tree. I started digging and digging and digging. I began digging in Ohio and found the bamboo root-ends somewhere close to China, I think.😅

If it causes rapid cell division, it could, over time, encourage cancer. For example, in hormone replacement therapy, the additional hormones encourage cell growth, both good and bad cells. Birth control causes cancer for this very reason.😮

I start using Comfrey for about one year ffg or pain , Itritis knee pain. and it sure good for pain. I just blend the fresh leaf with coconut oil.

I use plantain sliced in Kraut fermenting to add nutrients and great color also in slaw (cabbage carrots and plantain) diced for a pretty pop of good stuff! Also smoothies, blend the leaves and strain the stringy part out and add to smoothie. I heard it is good for the leaking us old gals have when laughing coughing sneezing etc. seems to improve mine. Dandelions make a great broth take the whole plant pick of flower stems and scrub the dirt from the roots/ crevices and just simmer til roots get tender add some salt to flavor... it is very comforting.

Thanks H~G~ Herbalist! I stepped into a soft spot and heard/felt a snap all the way to my ears! Broke the Lateral malleolus and with no way to stop my forward motion I went into a spiral fall twisting the other ankle (possibly a couple ankle breaks) even the metatarsal fractured. I was only 25 feet from the comfrey bed so I limped out there still in the fight/flight mode and gathered an armful of comfrey which I chopped and mashed while waiting for a ride to the ER. I sipped an Arnica water dose or two while chopping! ER - After verifying everything in place ( now in a wheel chair!) I wrapped the ankles with the C-mash for a couple days and was easily walking 3 weeks later! No, the ortho Dr did not want me to tell him how it healed so fast lol
