ОтветитьWhen will you make a 2019 lawn care setup?
ОтветитьLove the videos mate.
ОтветитьBrand loyalty doesn't make you money, what makes money is a reliable mower that works for you day in and day out, and a dealer that can keep your down time to a minimum.
ОтветитьThat black is badass
ОтветитьNot all mowers mow the same in wet conditions (some clump a lot more than others), not all mowers handle steep hills equally well, not all mowers have the same comfort level for long term operator endurance, and not all mowers have same warrantee, and not all have same fuel usage. Therefore brand can and does matter for some aspects of business that are important to you and your particular property types.
ОтветитьMike Andes channel provides top notch business advise.
Ответитьbrian i run no flats on the front casters on my walker i haven't had an issue with them at all plus 2 less grease zerks.
ОтветитьWish i had a Walker.....👊🤑👍
ОтветитьNo customer ever asked why I used a certain brand or asked for a rebate because there was a certain brand cutting their grass! None ever offered to pay me more either!
ОтветитьWalker’s are the go to mowers in my area. Seems like everyone runs them here. Even with the only dealer being a town over. 10-25 min drive on country roads depending on what side of town you’re on. Even with Gravely being built an hour away. The cut and stripe game is on point. But my god are those mowers ugly! Personally I am not a fan of the design and control layout so I won’t use one. But they sure do cut super nice!
Ответитьlil sneak peak of the new paint. looks good but I still see some yellow!
Ответитьhe did pretty dam good on those mowers, that deck looks awesome on the ghs.
ОтветитьYes any mower will cut grass but the Walker ghs is the best for residential and Commercial mowing
Great in the spring when grass is tall and wet great in the fall for vacuuming up leaves
Yes it is terrible on hillsides and it is not the quickest but how fast can you really go and get a quality cut
Do you still have the wright?
ОтветитьLove how he said screw and went full throttle immediately. Only way to learn. Pretty good for his first time.
ОтветитьHydros don’t sound rite on the GHS
ОтветитьI wonder if your gear boxes will get hot with it being black 🤷🏿♂️
ОтветитьGreat video Brian and Mike, he did pretty well for his first time on a Walker mower! I like that mower that is painted black, looks sharp!
ОтветитьWalkers are so uninstictive to run- too much of a learning curve for most
Ответитьcool video
ОтветитьMike is awesome! I just started watching his videos and his head for business is on another level.
ОтветитьI've had all different kind of machine all brands you can imagine someone good someone not good I'd use some that were the same brand make and model and sambal what good some dinner and it was that same thing so you never know it depends on how you good you take care of them and your luck with them but take care of your equipment and it would take care of you and your money maker take care of each other and mostly take care of yourself and good luck everybody but good show good advice
ОтветитьHey all. My experience as a small business owner in Australia I would say that brand does matter. Ease of replacing parts, reliability, long term cost, finding a dealer. As a small operator I want to make my machines last as long as possible for cost reasons. Ive had cheaper brands and they are never worth it. They don't last and theyre unreliable.. I run Hondas for small mowers and John Deere ride - on. The other popular ride on choice here is Toro, which from what ive read, you splitting hairs between the two brands anyway. Big, proven brands in my opinion are better.
ОтветитьJohn Deere all the way. Good luck to you Brian this year. I like the black and Green you did to the Walker.
ОтветитьI’ve never had a customer ask me why I chose one brand over another we’ll just one ask me why I always have husky Z turns. I told him price and availability of parts and service every other brand is 2 hours or more away from me I’ve been running one of my husky PZT 48s for almost 4 years it’s never needed to go in the shop
ОтветитьBrands matter but you can buy junk, and you will always have new junk because junk does not hold up to commercial usage. Buying new junk might improve a company's 'image' since the junk will always look new to the client? Junk equipment may or may not improve your profitability depending on how you expense it and charge for services.
ОтветитьIts fun swapping between a grandstand a zero turn and walker style controls on a gianni Ferrari
ОтветитьGood job, dealer service is what will make any mower shine.
ОтветитьI don't think I would of had a rookie back a Walker out of my garage beside two vehicles for the first time lol. He did good though for his first time.I had a guy that I was planning on hiring come to my place to see if he could drive one of my Toro 6000 mowers, he said he worked at a golf coarse and had experience on mowers, well lets just say that it didn't go so well lol, he lost control pretty much right away and was flipping the control arms up and down, just missed my old garage and came to a stop by hitting an old steel tank in my yard. Lucky that he wasn't injured, and no damage to the mower other than a bit of paint that was scrapped off, safe to say he didn't get the job. And yes I did go over with him on how the mower works and showed him as well.
ОтветитьFor my 4.7 acres I went with a John Deere Z track 62 inch deck. So far so good. To each their own.
ОтветитьHey, great video! Thanks for sharing Mike. Never heard of him. Yeah, being solo out there it’s important for me to have a mower I like, and that’s a walker. To each their own, for sure. I don’t find it to bad on hills either, and I mow in nw Montana where hardly any lawn is flat. Some are actually quite steep! In fact I flipped it onto its side 2 years ago for the first time ever ( like 20yrs experience on one). Scary!
ОтветитьIn my experience...The brand of machine you buy doesn't matter as much as how you use it and how closely you follow the manufacturer's maintenance instructions. You can buy an Exmark and buy a no-brand Briggs mower with 10 years on it from your neighbor, and if you don't maintain the Exmark properly, the 10 year old mower will last longer and perform better.
Oh, this reminds me about a subject touched on by another video blogger - How many of you engage your mower blades while at any setting above idle?...You shouldn't!
I stay with exmark. Walkers suck on hills my opinion. Exmark hugs hills and leaves a professional cut
ОтветитьSo no more shop you are back home in your garage for your equipment
ОтветитьDude didnt care to run one mower let alone two. Hes a little feminine and doesnt care for that stuff.
ОтветитьSweet bro. Cool seeing you guys do a video.
ОтветитьRode one for years. ( When I worked for someone else).. I would never use this mower to cut my route. Stand ups save time ( about an hour a week saved)..I can use the standup for carrying mulch etc.
ОтветитьWashington state 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻me too
ОтветитьScag head and shoulders.
ОтветитьNo warming the equipment up?
ОтветитьThat was cool.
