Saw Jake on the Ultimate Sin Tour and spent the whole show watching him from about 5ft away. He was just mesmerising. He inspired me to play guitar and cannot thank him enough for the pleasure it has brought me. The intro to killer of giants ge5s me everytime!
ОтветитьBoy does Jack E Lee have the sniffles
ОтветитьHe had a white SG Jr when he played with Ozzy on the “Ultimate Sin” tour and I thought it was the coolest guitar.
ОтветитьThank God skinny jeans when our style
ОтветитьHe must be tiny. That 335 looks huge on him.
ОтветитьJake E Lee .. Absolutely Incredible Guitarist 🤟🎸💯👍 I got to see him at the Us Festival Ultimate Sin , BATMoon 🤟🎸🤟 Awesome Jake E Lee
Ответитьlove jake
ОтветитьBadlands Voodoo Highway ❤
ОтветитьThree Day Funk & Soul Stealer
ОтветитьThe funny thing is, this guy inspired just as many musicians as randy. Blows that no one other than Zakk gives him his credit.
ОтветитьThe wild looking box he talks about is a Prescription Electronics Experience pedal.
ОтветитьJake E lee just got shot while walking his dogs. October 15th on a Tuesday early after noon, I was just playing bark at the moon ending solo and main riff cover YESTERDAY. such a cool cat get well soon Jake!
ОтветитьWho’s here after he got shot? Hope he gets well
ОтветитьHeal up sir, look forward to more wailing tones.
ОтветитьLove the SWELL. It's like the BOSS SLOW GEAR, which sounds awesome with a wah pedal and gets you as close as you can get to the Hendrix backwards guitar on Are You Experienced ?
ОтветитьJake is as cool as it gets- besides bring an all-time great player.
ОтветитьYes definitely swimming pool...i have 3 tuxedo Fender Stratocasters and 88' Signature Series Eric Clapton (before Custom Shop) with independently routed pickup slots, a Standard that has two independent routs, and a double routed slot for the bridge I have Custom Shop Texas Specials in the guitar...and i have an Affinity with a Swimming Pool that has Seymour Duncan ssl-1, and ssl-5, and a Dizmario stacked humbucker in the bridge, and hotrod'd out, trebble bleed, mid-boost, 2 big Orage drop capacitors, Dizmario YGM speed volume, graphtech nut, and string trees, Kluson locking tuners, all this on the Standard too just pickups different..and i just love the differences in the 3 stratocasters...and looking at used necks and bodies with a deep cut 90's Standard and a Charvell neck or a Kramer style hockey stick neck, and going EMG active dual 81's...and some hotrod'd wiring...✌️
ОтветитьI am convinced that the power source does make a difference. Power from an atomic power plant definitely makes your sound cleaner as compared to a coal power plant, which - especially for distortion- makes the sound “smokier”. Any noticed that subtle but noticeable difference?
ОтветитьMy favorite!
ОтветитьDUDE NO TO THE SKINNY JEANS
👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
this guy needs to write a book . , lived through the 80's metal scene, traveled the world he's seen and done it all
ОтветитьSharon Osbourne
ОтветитьGotta love Jake
ОтветитьNo Jake...No ozzy😂
ОтветитьJake is beyond underrated. The man is incredible. Ozzy found another gem when he got Jake. Bark at the Moon is a beautifully complex song on the guitar. The solo is one of the best ever and to play the song the way Jake played it is almost impossible.
ОтветитьThat's so interesting about the pedals with batteries, about the fuzz and also how they carry less noise, which is pretty logical. Definitely gonna try. I'm on a Jake E. Lee frenzy watching all his interviews. XD
ОтветитьMy all time favorite guitar hero that inspired me actually to start playing.
ОтветитьSaw Badlands live in the early 90s.. Jake's performance was mind blowing..
ОтветитьSuch a nice guy
ОтветитьPlease release that Purple Burst @Charvel.
ОтветитьInterviewer is a cringey fucker..I hate talking to people like him. So fake, it's insulting, actually.
ОтветитьJake and Bark At The Moon (my third cassette in 1984) is one of the three reasons why I still play guitar. I'm 48 yo 🤘🏻
ОтветитьFriedman amp are junk. Im an amp tech and engineer. They break all the time.
ОтветитьThe hero this country needs....
Ответитьman, Badlands was THE band in that time..with Ray Gillen, couldnt get any better, such quality songs
ОтветитьI saw Jake at the US fest with Ozzy.
He’s a tasty player, a cool cat
His model Freedman is on my wish list for sure
The first guitar player on use the white and Black pickguard was Ritchie Blackmore on the videos from :" Long Live rock and Roll ,later was Neal Schon (Journey) on 1979-80 the same setup HSS with Standard tremolo and later Floyd Rose on 1980 playing blues song :" Walks like a lady and La Do Da ( Rock song Fast riffs ) .
ОтветитьWere they hoovering lines before this interview? The amount of sniffles, goddamn
ОтветитьWhat a humble down to earth man. Likes simple things.👍
ОтветитьYes Jake E plays a hard tail but I'm pretty sure I've him do a wammyless dive bomb by reaching down to the headstock and turning a tuner down for the dive then back up to pitch in the middle of a solo. Underrated guitar player, hi guitar work in Badlands is top tier
ОтветитьGreat rundown. IMHO, the amp is also an instrument - love Jake’s comment re: frequencies that will definitely vary during performance.
ОтветитьYou think his amp settings would sound good on a Peavey 6505?
Ответить"I don't mind killing the singer with the 25s." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьJake is one of my biggest influences. The man is not only a ridiculous player, he’s a world class song writer too. Way underrated and should be celebrated as one of the best of all time.
ОтветитьJake made me appreciate Ozzy. 🤷🏻♂️
One of my fav guitarists, love his work with badlands too.
This guy look like 2010s indie rocker
