What do you wish you knew as a beginner Swimmer ?
ОтветитьHow do you remove body hair?
Ответить"Turn your head to the air" Well duhh 🤦♂️
They forgot about mentioning the very small (sarcasm) matter of actually being comfortable underwater.
Same place
Ответить@Thanks
Ответитьi guess i was born for diver
Ответитьvery helpful
ОтветитьBackwards swimming is the easiest for me. I need to learn to use my arms more than my feet
Ответитьdo u take the air with your mouth?
ОтветитьI am 29 and I was afraid that I am too old to learn to swim, but so many people in the comment section are giving me inspiration. I guess it's never too late for anything as long as you have burning desire to learn something new in life.
Ответитьafter years of swimming my own way, I'm open to learning at age 61! Thanks for the guidelines!
ОтветитьIt's so hard, I might give up😢
ОтветитьI am struggling to rotate gasping for a breath and drinking a lot of water. Any tips? Thank You !
ОтветитьI am a senior adult newbie learning since mid 2021. It took using floating belt and snorkel for a long time to get over sinking fear. It took a long time using snorkel while practicing form to get everything aligned. It took a very long time to get breathing right while not affecting everything else. Now I can breathe bilaterally while cutting thru water without much splashing. I also swim breaststroke well, don’t get tired doing longer distance.
Ответитьand dont forget to close your fingers when your pulling or the water just goes straight through 🙂
ОтветитьI learned to swim as a child but didn’t progress very far as I was afraid of the water and I’ve been afraid ever since. I’m now 45 and started having lessons 3 months ago. I wish I’d done it sooner and not been so scared to swim. I get a lot of enjoyment from swimming and Im getting fitter too!
ОтветитьI've noticed swimming helps me with my asthma :D Having to control you breathing so much more when at the pool really helps later in the day as well.
ОтветитьI had silly attempts as a kid but in all honestly never truly learned. Going back now at 42. The struggle is real! But I’m confident and I already signed up for a beginner triathlon in a year.
ОтветитьWell I did miss that boat as a child
But now I am having swimming lessons
I'm 59 years old
Better late than never
want to swim in sea😄😊
ОтветитьI’m 9 I learned at 3 or 2
ОтветитьI just drown. I don’t know why. I could do back stroke as a kid but nowadays I sink like a rock.
ОтветитьI am 60 and unable to stand easily in the middle of the pool water after floating. Any suggestions.
ОтветитьI’m currently having lessons with a plan to actually complete a triathlon next year. Had a drowning accident when a kid and hated water ever since but set myself a challenge to conquer the fear and learn. Then complete a triathlon.
ОтветитьAll of this is super helpful and better than other clips for beginning adults. Thank you!
ОтветитьI'm 22 and I started swimming last week! Thank you for the tips
ОтветитьI'm learning to swim at 63 years young! I love it! This channel has helped a l o t!
ОтветитьIm a 7yrs runners, half marathoner and trail runner. Now turning 48 yrs old learned my formal swimming lesson and training. Thanks A LOT of your videos which really help for my form and techniques 🤗💪🏼
ОтветитьLoved all the info in one video! Very helpful.
ОтветитьThis video is perfect.
ОтветитьI learned to swim when I was 6 and been a beginner ever since.
ОтветитьTwo things: I wish I knew about stretching routines for my shoulders. I would have saved myself many “off weeks” waiting for my shoulders to heal. I also wished I knew that the catch and pull are two distinct actions. Although they happen very close to each other they should be kept far apart….!
ОтветитьWhile I learned to flap about in swimming lessons as a kid, it wasn't until this year, at 33 years old, that I decided to get private swimming lessons with a coach to actually teach me Freestyle form and technique. Was the best thing I ever did in the pool
ОтветитьIs this vid shade?
ОтветитьI wish I knew it wouldn’t be as embarrassing as I thought it was going to be.
ОтветитьI started learning to swim 2 months ago (I could swim 25m before) and I now can cover fairly comfortably the 1500m olympic triathlon distance. I swim 4 times a week. I am 26. If I could do it, you can do it too.... GTN definitely helped a lot.
ОтветитьJust started learning 4 weeks ago. Am 28 and it's going well!
ОтветитьIm 45 and just learning the swimming strokes
ОтветитьGTN: What do you wish you knew as a beginner Swimmer ?
My Ghost: Too late, "never swim in open water . . . alone!"
Thumbnail <<------- Uh, Mark's middle finger keeps shifting up and down his fist! Certainly NOT for learners . . . too advanced!
ОтветитьHappy swimming, beginners! You can do it!!!
ОтветитьGood video bit being picky, the stroke you were discussing is front crawl, not freestyle. A "freestyle" race is literally that - open to any stroke. People invariably swim front crawl in freestyle races because it's quickest.
ОтветитьVery informative video!!! Just in time for my first triathlon this weekend! Thank you for all of your videos which have helped me greatly.
ОтветитьWish I knew not to wait till I’m 47 (current age) to learn how to swim…
ОтветитьReally interesting video, learning to swim at 57 with the hope of doing some form of tri in the future, all tips gratefully received
ОтветитьI wish i knew how hard it is to "unlearn" inefficient/bad swimming technique - i would have focused more on a good body-position/movement
ОтветитьWhich goggles are perfect for diving....?
