Nice collection! I just restored my 95 200x. Had it since I was a kid
ОтветитьUp here in Canada, the 200M and 200e are super common. I don't know if it was the price point or the sales pitch, but Honda sold alot of them up here. We didn't have the racing background up here as the states did, it was mostly utility or recreational use like fishing and hunting.
When I was first buying them for parts, many were one owner machines and I was told that the dealers ran specials for the 200m and 200e frequently. They were easy to fix in the bush if something went wrong and they had the utility racks needed to get the job done.
Funny you mentioned the spotlights, they were common to find up here years ago, but as the used market prices started to increase, they started to become less common.
On a final note, the 110 and 125 were also popular, followed by the 200es and 250es & sx as time went on...
I have a plug in for factory spot light or winch I don't really know what it's for
Ответитьyou mixed up something bud, big red introduced shaft drive in 1984 , 1983 was the last year that big reds where chain drive
ОтветитьCool video! I’m looking for an 85 R seat in decent condition if you know of any. Mine is an 86 with 85 replica cover stretched really tight lol
ОтветитьSome great bikes. My favorite is the R.
ОтветитьHey bud do u have or can you do of just all of the mint condition trikes please
Ответитьcool !!.......i had a 84....200x brand new !!
ОтветитьGreat video, ggz-👽👾👍
ОтветитьKILLER THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьAwesome video man I love it I'm just about to go purchase one of these tomorrow gonna find out exactly which one it is
ОтветитьAwesome video brother! I just subscribed here and hope to see more content from you. I have an 86 350x I’m trying to find a stator and pick up coil for. If anyone knows a good place to find it let me know pls. Thks👊🏻😎
Ответить1985 was my favorite year for the ATC lineup. I own a 1985 250SX and do prefer the red color over the 1986-87 models. The only 1986 models I prefer over 1985 would be the 200X and 350X. A 250R from either year would be great.
ОтветитьMy name is Dereck and I just got a really nice 85 125m today lol .
ОтветитьAndre the Giant made the Big Red look like a regular size man on a atc 70😂😂
ОтветитьGreat video, lots of memories! I am an original owner of the oddball 85 200M that I bought brand new at age 13 with my paper route money. Still own it today. Doesn’t get used much anymore
ОтветитьWow, I would love to visit your "showroom"! 😀 Very nice collection! I grew up on Honda ATCs on the farm. Since you have ridden so many, I have a question. Have you noticed any model being more stable than another? The reason I ask is because I only drove a 1986 ATC125M and a 1984 ATC110. The 110 always felt much more tippy than the 125. How do they compare to a 185 or the Big Reds?
I own a 1984 ATC110 now that I had the engine rebuilt on but it doesn't have racks and I also want more power for work around our land so I'm planning on selling it and getting something else. Just not sure what yet.😉
200M Production Numbers? Anyone?
ОтветитьHey I was just wondering if you would know how to get rust out of a 1986 ATC200x gas tank
ОтветитьDrool.
Ответитьhermosas tri motos me gustan un saludo desde México
ОтветитьI have a 200 but it dont have suspesing
ОтветитьI wish my 85 was running and in shape like this. I miss it so bad!!! I grew up on mine in 88 thru 93
ОтветитьAwesome....lived the trikes , took every one for granted and got hurt..Beautiful trikes
I have an 86 trx 250-R now , never looking back . Other than snow and mud , the trike cuts like a knife .. and top speed is greater on the trike , my 85 atc was 85mph , my trx is 72... extra weight made the difference between doing what you want do at times
Appreciate the trike , never take er for granted 😊
Im shopping for my first honda atc. Im a 85 model, so id love to find one as old as me
ОтветитьI had the liquid cooled 250r and 2 200x wish i had the 350 x but the 200x is the best riding most fun bike i ever rode. No need to go so fast you die and its clutch and 5 speed make it a beautiful rider. The 250 scared me the whole time and it didn’t like putting around. It wanted to be opened up all the time or it would load up but the power band would put you in hyper speed and I could barely keep the front down all the way through 6th
ОтветитьWhere's my 90, I road that thing around all over hell when I was younger in the late 70's to the 80's. My main mode of transportation.
Ответитьthe 250r is the prettiest 3 wheeler ever
ОтветитьWhat a line up that 70 is my favorite
ОтветитьNice pump collection 👍
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThanks for the memories
ОтветитьWhat’s your gripe on the Honda ATC200M ?
ОтветитьSweet line up !
ОтветитьNice collection :)
ОтветитьI had one of the rare 1984 blue Honda 110 s...
ОтветитьThanks for all your help
ОтветитьPreston for president 2024!!! Let’s go……. like Gavin would say😂
ОтветитьIf you don’t mind me asking Preston what do you do for a living besides collect act’s??
ОтветитьI grew up riding a 200m man I wish I still had it I loved to catwalk it and I rolled it alot lol
ОтветитьThe 85 200x always has a broken front fender! That one is very clean watched this video because i am picking up an 85 200s pretty clean 400$ tomorrow
ОтветитьIs there any other model that has the same steering stem as the 200m? Or did they only design that for the 200m?
ОтветитьYour voice puts melatonin to shame... I've nodded off atleast 3 times watching this. You the man Preston.
Ответитьis my 250es A odd ball since it has the silver throttle from new !!! I have high low and reverse!!! and it still is a fun toy with 30k km so far and climbing I put on it who know what the og owner put on it I am the 3rd owner legitly. and mine has never been registered !!! and I bought the over sized tires when i bought a sled for cheap !!! a 96' arctic cat puma 440 !!! was fun till crank bearing went out and cracked a cylinder !!! I just need the bigger fat front tire to do watrer crossing !!!!
ОтветитьThe 85/86 3 wheelers are the ones that cost them to get banded from the US.
Ответитьstill lovin" our 84 200X.. all OEM, 3 kicks starts her to this day !!
ОтветитьA few years ago I was selling a 2009 Nissan frontier. The buyer and myself were about $1000 apart and he offered me a basket case 85' 250R. It was complete, motor, good aftermarket plastics, wheels and axle. After assembly it would only need tires. I accepted it and sold it he next day to my neighbor for the $1000 that I wanted out of my truck. He put it together in an afternoon and sold it a few days later for $4,000!!!! I could have kicked myself.
ОтветитьMy Aunt has a 1985 ATC110 with the Hi/Lo range and auto clutch. That thing was used, abused, left out barely covered usually by a car port. It snows a lot there so it still was loaded with snow and ice. Barely had oil changes, a spark plug or two. Thing still runs, the clutch is spent and it needs starting fluid to start but it runs.
ОтветитьI bought a brand new 1986 ATC250sx, and loved it until it was stolen in 2017... I would love to get another, but the prices are so high I might as well get a new 4 wheeler... Always dreamed of getting a 250r but having to mix gas oil and then dealing with a manual clutch not so good for just putting around on... sure would be fun though
ОтветитьI'd love to find a big red
