I noticed the 1, 2, 3 keys seem to not do anything in sculpt mode, unless I'm missing something.
@JulienKaspart Do these could mirror object mode where they switch between collections. Since I think it would be useful when sculpting to seperate parts using collections, such as having the hair mesh on a different collection and pressing the number row keys to turn it off and on, so you can toggle on meshes like, hair, clothes when sculpting a character for example.
Vertex paint shortcut "Shift K" dont work any more in 4.0 any fix about that ?

Ответитьfor edit mode. now when i press 1,2,3 won't change my vertex,edge, or faces selection mode, do anyone know how to fix this ? because its little bit take a time if i use my mouse to change it . . . . .

ОтветитьWhy did you remove the hotkeys for polygon and vertex masking modes? After all, they did not conflict with anything; now when you click on them, nothing simply happens.

ОтветитьFor the modifiers I can add them immediately with cool blender addon like speedflow from pie menu and this really fast and that modifiers are smart and easy to change values of the modifier to change the look of the model.
ОтветитьI don't like hotkeys changing for the S - scale, G - grab, R - rotate. I like them as they was. They should be by default and an option to change in the settings to industry standart or back to blender old.
ОтветитьI don't get how the detail flood works. If I have the standard brush, and dyntopo enabled, pressing ctrl+R and drag doesn't do anything for me in 4.0. The triangle preview doesn't show up.
Edit: I see now, you have to set the detailing to either Constant or Manual for it to work. Dyntopo > Detailing > Constant or Manual.

ОтветитьYes! Finally! A Industrial Keymap overhaul. Blenders default controls just suck for me. And the industrial keymap clearly lacked...many, many shortcuts and features. To this day I dont know how to open the normal add menu, or open alot of other menus. I just kept pressing TAB to search through blenders entire command list (which is the old F3 menu in the default controls)

ОтветитьThe updates to the industry compatible keymap are exciting since I think the 4.0 release will attract a lot of new industry professionals, and it's been hard to recommend using that keymap up to this point.
