Wow, nothing in this video is accurate. Aside from the gold thing, the ring that woman makes cannot be used for contactless payments as demonstrated. For NFC (near field communications) to work, the chip she extracted has an attached antenna embedded into the card that is used for sending and receiving the data in a contactless payment system. By extracting the chip as she did, the antenna (if there was one to begin with) would have been severed which would remove any NFC capability from the chip.

I agree this is Bullsh@t! To use acid extraction to get the gold took me 5 tons of computer & phone scrap to get 6 grams of gold and it was only 22k you can only get 95% pure gold then all the waste acid you have to get rid of. It took 2 months to get that amount not worth the time!!!!!

This is incredibly irresponsible. Gold extraction is much more complicated. A fume extractor should be used. Extraction involves getting the gold onto a solution and then back into solid form. Due to the time, cost, and safety issues, it only makes economic sense if you can make a video out of it. And the parts from the phone would all be gold plated as well.
