The more I learn about Lexus and their higher end performance cars the more I realize they are so slept on simply because they aren’t the fastest. They aren’t, but they have some of the most character out there!
ОтветитьWow
ОтветитьSeeing two grown men smile from driving this masterpiece says it all! Bravo SG! 👏🏼
Ответить+1 " Modern F1 cars sound like ass "
ОтветитьI've probably watched this 3 times over the last couple of years. It's so perfectly presented. You guys are always my go to reviewers before any purchase.
ОтветитьOnly been 2 years and it's already at 1mil
Ответитьit was too expensive and the lc 500 its all the contrary and is a better car all the way... the lfa its a baby hypercar
Ответить"they didn't wanna do a ...corolla turned sportscar"
Toyota Engineers in 2023 😬
I'm a bit late, but awesome video!!! It's incredible to watch this 10 years later and see how many "firsts" this car had that have now become standard on performance cars
Such a legendary car, I now appreciate and am in car of every aspect of this car. Thank you so much for producing this video and to take us into the world of which this machine was built
ОтветитьThey did a lot of the same motor building as they did with the NSX NC2
ОтветитьThis is a prime example of the pursuit of perfectionism I admire about Toyota a while ago.
ОтветитьYour energy together and your channel are so wonderfully unique. Unabashedly nerdy and relaxing. Intoxicating really. Thank you guys.
Ответитьa few bmw m3s laer, i still favor my ref.. i know I'm that wrong?
ОтветитьI think what’s so crazy is the lfa was around 400k brand new and now you can’t have one for under 800k. Talk about a investment
ОтветитьGoodbye to a car barely anyone has ever driven, much less owned?
ОтветитьThis is one of the best videos I’ve seen demonstrating the engineering and how special this car is. I’ve seen the LC 500 compilations as well and I will be buying an LC 500 for my next car. Thank you for taking the time for creating this video. The LFA is truly special.
ОтветитьHonesty and integrity are completely non existent in car sales industry!!
Ответитьwell done
ОтветитьNo clutch? The ultimate sports car?
ОтветитьThe LFA reminds me of Celine Dion. She’s not much on looks but boy can she sing 🤣
ОтветитьIt's amazing to see, The company that makes corolla and prius had produced master piece who easily puts lambos, ferraris and bmw s to shame.
ОтветитьAlso, someone show this video to Doug demuro so he can stop calling the LFA overrated.
ОтветитьVery interesting car. Insane engineering.
ОтветитьDUDE DON/T DISS COLLUM SHIFTERS MANUAL STAY IN PLACE
ОтветитьThis post is the middle finger to all those people that criticized this car when it came out.
ОтветитьThis is the most comprehensive car engineering channel I've ever seen! great work!
Ответить500k is a steal for this car nowadays atleast you can get one for 800k thats the cheapest ive seen
Ответитьthe new one electric type soon arrives..0-100 2sec..
ОтветитьVery nice designs. I like version 1. Would it flow better if the pipes from the headers came into the valve/muffler section at more of a V shape? I’m not an engineer but I would think those 90 degree angles would fight eachother. All in all very cool ideas.
ОтветитьIt warms my heart to see a full-length documentary on the Lexus LFA — my favourite car of all time. No production car sounds better than the V10 that this car was blessed with. Even Jeremy Clarkson agrees with me ;)
ОтветитьThe creation of the V10 was lead by Lexus' chief engine designer Okamoto Takamitsu. The engine starts life at Toyota's Myochi plant. It is at this plant that the engine block is made from molted aluminium. The block is then sent to Toyota's Honsha factory. The same factory that used to be Toyota's F1 engine facility. The block will get milled, drilled and polished and emerges as a precise engine block. In a sealed room Takumi’s (Master Craftsmen) hone every sharp edge using precision polishing tools. After this a highly skilled Takumi pre-assembles the finished engine blocks to check if they fit precisely. Disassembled they travel as unit to Yamaha’s Iwata city plant. It is at this plant that 4 highly skilled Yamaha Takumi’s fully assemble V10. A process that takes 2,5 days for one engine. Before the engine gets put into an LFA, it undergoes a half day of exhaustive testing.
ОтветитьI enjoy it so much!
ОтветитьSound of this is so good that it brings tears in my ears and goosebumps
ОтветитьIs no 2JZ Supra..I dont care what you gotta say...
ОтветитьMark calls the brevity of production a disappointment, the Lexus team calls it a mic drop.
ОтветитьI firmly believe that if the LFA was scrapped, Toyota wouldn't be the way it is today in 2023. No GR Yaris, no GR Corolla, Supra, GR86, RC-F, etc. It may have been a commercial failure, but it shaped Toyota's and Lexus' future in more ways than we'll ever know.
Ответить$20K bumper? Laughs in Bugatti voice as an oil change is essentially $35K
ОтветитьLFA Yamaha ❤👍
ОтветитьLha kelakuane similar sky bri melayang sky broooo
ОтветитьTampan wae orak.
ОтветитьCo toh sing bisnis karo cino opo Asia ngono kui di naikke mentale yo terbang.
ОтветитьLha nek America hal hal ngono kui kudune wes biasa faktane pihake wae iso melayang
ОтветитьNing indoensia ibarate di bales baik buruk wae sak enake dewe opo meneh ngikuti pihak lain.
ОтветитьDipikir posisiku enak opo piye asu tenan
ОтветитьThanks so much for making this documentary!!! I can’t think of anyone else I would want to produce this! Your passion and cinematography is perfection. And as a side note…we just bought a LC500 largely because of your other videos regarding that fine car. Thank you😁
ОтветитьThat sound ALWAYS gave me goosebumps
ОтветитьWhat a video. Thank you for doing this guys.
