Excellent video, but I am still not sure about the second tip. Where is it I need to put the pressure on the ski's to carve more into the snow?
ОтветитьGreat tips! What mountain are you skiing on?
ОтветитьThis man is a carving wizard
ОтветитьThat was a good video! Thank you.
ОтветитьI'm 52, starting season 28 soon, nice to see another big ole kid out there! Great tips great stuff great skiing many thanks!
ОтветитьYou got rotary verses edging exactly backwards. No wonder there are so many bad skiers out there, after listening to advice like this.
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьI felt this vid in my soul. Explained perfectly. I can't wait to go back
Ответитьthis is very good, but this camera man is crazy good frr
ОтветитьTip #1 is what I really needed this season. I am just too tense and tire out so quickly. I'll try to bend more on less steep slopes to develop that technique. Much Thanks!!!
ОтветитьMorgan is great but I don't think bending legs can make legs feel relaxed, it's the opposite. Because when legs are straight, the bones are supporting the body. When legs are bent, we rely on the muscles. We do need to bend legs to absorb the bumps.
Ответитьcameraman is the most pro, better than olimpic athletes
ОтветитьThis is NOT a how to, this is a watch me do it video.
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьVery helpful tip. Great job!
ОтветитьHi Morgan, why are you over here in our Alps?
You should be in Lake Louise or somewhere :)
Very nice video and thanks for the tips very nice.
I think I saw a sweet little pop near the start of the Video .. I'll watch it again.
Could you elaborate the first tip on how to use all joints, I have been trying this for a couple of days but haven’t got the hang of it. Are there tips or exercises for this? Thanks anyways the tips helped a lot!!👍
ОтветитьThank you Morgan! You are a gifted teacher!!
Ответитьwhhhhheeeere did they shoot this? new england ice coast could never😢
ОтветитьI found that helpful, but not looking up the piste before setting off is a no no!
ОтветитьI’m gonna do skiing tomorrow thank you for the tips I’m really excited!
ОтветитьMan, i always thought that I was needing something to perfect my skiing. And I think you hit all of those points perfectly. Good job 👍
Ответитьi shouldve watched before falling down dozens of time down a steep sloop
ОтветитьYour ski style really pops. Motivated to improve and take more lessons. Thanks
ОтветитьWhere is this video shot?
Ответитьthe best carving tips I have ever gotten was to have a wider stance and just the inside knee away from your downhill knee as far as your skis are apart. and drive the downhill ski big toe on your foot down once you're in your turn.
this really worked for me.
he sounds Canadian :)
ОтветитьGood stuff. I would add to find a set of very simple drills that focus on one thing only. Hands position, edging, whatever. Start your session practicing it on an easy slope for ten minutes or more if you're not bored.
Then just forget about it and go skiing. this gets good habits into your muscle memory and you'll start to use them auto-magically.
Best advice and vids😊
ОтветитьWhat ski area / mountain is this? Beautiful.
Ответитьwhere are you skiing? looks like good slopes for learning
ОтветитьHe’s different
ОтветитьThis is helpful, than you!
Ответить"If I add nothing but twists of the ski...I'm at the mercy at the pull of the of the slope". Such a great way of phrasing that.
ОтветитьFabulous tips my friend! Love the video. I have been skiing since I could walk, so for about 26 years. But there's always room for learning, improving, and sharpening my skills. Going to practice these tips on Bachelor today! First stop of my 2 month ski trip. So far LOVING this terrain. (I'm from Washington). Catch ya on the Summit chair. Cheers!
ОтветитьThis guy is fantastic.
ОтветитьWhere was this filmed? 😍
ОтветитьI'm not seeing any use of FIS rule 5: "Entering, starting and moving upwards
A skier or snowboarder entering a marked run, starting again after stopping or moving upwards on the slopes must look up and down the slopes that he can do so without endangering himself or others."
Or was that the job of the camera operator to give the all clear?
Beautiful.
ОтветитьAnyone know what mountain this is on?
ОтветитьI need some help. Everytime I go to get my ski boots binded to my skis. By the end of a couple runs, the boots detach easily. Any idea why that happens?
ОтветитьI wish I could ski effortlessly like this guy. I’m at the point now where I CAN ski pretty well when snow conditions are perfect. However, I’m from New England and when snow conditions deteriorate, my technique falls to shit. When it gets icy or when the piste gets chopped up, I try to maintain my technique and flow but I always end up frustrated and tired. I’ve been skiing for almost 17 years and haven’t really improved since year 2. How do I fix this???
ОтветитьGreat video, what ski resort is that? Doesn’t look like North America… maybe Europe?
ОтветитьWhich ski hill resort is this at?
Ответитьbeen skiing (not often enough) since i was 5 (for 16 years) and STILL needed to hear number 2 on here. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьGreat video.
ОтветитьWhat’s your gloves brand?
