The dehydrated ice cream sandwiches are our fav!
ОтветитьIn the woods you’ll most likely not have cell service. The mountains near me have zero cell service.
ОтветитьLast time I went I forgot spatula and had to use a metal fork for cooking. 🤦♂️🤪
ОтветитьLol all my camping gear is from either Walmart or Canadian tire. Cheap shit works.... mostly. Our cheap Walmart tent wasn't quite as rain proof as I would have liked....
ОтветитьGreat video! Best advise is to just get out there and do it! You likely have most of what you need at home already. You'll then know how you camp and what you need to do it better.
ОтветитьWalmart was bumping the music
ОтветитьBest trip ?
Ответитьman your walmart has way better stuff than the ones I've been to in Canada. This is almost on par with Canadian Tire
ОтветитьJust found your channel a few days ago and can not stop binge watching all of your videos!! Going to have to stock up at my local Walmart now!
Ответить"Highly recommend".
ОтветитьWent on a last minute camping trip and got that same 6 person tent. Shit was perfect quick easy to set up and tear down.
ОтветитьA great service Matt. Did not give Walmart any consideration previously. Very helpful
ОтветитьMy broke a$$ when and got a 8 man tent and already had a 3 man tent, set them up one inside the other, can still stand up in the bigger tent to cook or just hang out in a rain storm, etc. can also make a homemade camping stove, and it fits on top of my 95 explorer, homemade deck.
ОтветитьNot Walmart, but if you are looking for weatherproof cases, harbor freight has the Apache line. They are similar to the pelican case for about 1/3 the price
ОтветитьThanks Matt, very informative. 80 years old and just getting started. Live in Arizona and love the desert trails. I am a very health 80.
ОтветитьJust starting the overlanding/Jeeping adventures. One question I had during the utensil portion of the vid is: where/how do we wash the pots/plates/utensils in the wilderness?
ОтветитьI picked up a random nonstick pan off of amazon that has a removable handle and that has been a game changer when it comes to storage
ОтветитьWhy are calling a brand new jeep budget? This is whack. This whole video is whack.
ОтветитьIts not over landing if its a jeep 😂
ОтветитьIn Alaska we use 100 Deet AND a Thermacell. Our mosquitos are the state bird 🦟
ОтветитьStep 1. Buy an expensive Jeep.
ОтветитьI just wanna tell you I really enjoy your videos alot . You really do an awesome job and thank you
ОтветитьYour Walmart plays better music than mine.
ОтветитьOzark, Walmart, and a Cis Male with Blue Hair?
Next!
Asia playing in the background ...nice
ОтветитьWalmart is the devil. Mamma says.
ОтветитьMall crawling into a Walmart. Toyota peeps its a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand.
ОтветитьI love to see you show people your love for the beautiful state we live in. Arkansas is underrated but I guess I kinda like it that way. Makes it feel like a special pocket of the world. I want to get into overlanding and have found your videos very helpful. Thanks for all you do
ОтветитьDo you have a video for starting accessories in a pick up truck?
ОтветитьThat blue tote with the metal latch actually works really well. I’ve had it out in the open in the desert and it kept my kitchen stuf perfectly clean
ОтветитьThanks, you gave me some great ideas.
Nice to see a Walmart where everything isn’t behind a cage like here in California.
Goes to Walmart, comes out and all his stuff is stolen….
ОтветитьWhen you got to the part about can openers? That one on the far right for $8.97. it cuts the best. And it is one handle. You just put it on top of the can. turn it. tracks onto the seam. Once you're done cutting. You just do a reverse turn and it comes off the can. Very simple. That's the best one all those other can openers. the bushing on the other opens. has a nylon bushing that wears out and then it doesn't cut into the can. Just saying, now if you go to the garage sale or swap meet or something. and you find the old school and is all metal. Grab it. And for the fire starters I use cotton balls and work in some Vaseline into the cotton balls. And I put those in a ziplock bag.
Ответить“I’d rather go run pritchett canyon” that is internet gold. Subbed!
ОтветитьI hit "Like" because there is no "Love" button
ОтветитьIve never understood the full tricked out rigs with roof tents and such. I mean, some gear is essential, but a lot depends on how long you'll be gone. Usually a weekend for me as i dont get much time, being a trucker. So a small 5lb propane bottle and coleman propane stove. Cooler with ice, blue cube water jug, and a tent with cot and a folding chair set me up pretty well. Got a tarm for an awning, and its luxury. Lol. Though ive always done camping, so it was mainly what do i need that i dont have somewhere. Great video!
ОтветитьTrauma kit - definitely go with a trauma kit. And learn how to use it. CAT tourniquets, medic shears, Stop The Bleed kits, definitely have them, and most importantly, LEARN HOW TO USE THEM. I have two IFAKs beefed up with CATs and STB items in my truck. Both my range bag and my rifle bag each have the same. And just like a gun, it's better to have it an not need it, than need it and not have it.
ОтветитьMail crawling. 🤣
ОтветитьWalmart has buddy heaters for 69.99 right now the 4000 to 9000 btu
ОтветитьGreat job as usual… I can’t believe how many things you found at Walmart. I’m going to volunteer to go shopping this week for groceries and my wife is going to faint.
ОтветитьSurpring to see that outdoorsy people do not support Kong over Yeti.
Kong coolers as good or better than yeti and best part they are made in USA 🇺🇸
I’m just getting into this. What device do you use for an emergency when off grid? Thank you
ОтветитьSuper random but I’m looking for some new reading glasses and I’m liking the ones you’re rocking lol. What model are they?
Ответитьnope, no Walmart here! or anything like it!
ОтветитьLots of good info for beginner's, but I'd avoid Ozark trail tents at all costs. Their "backpacking tent" has MANY poor reviews for leaking, and the company has stated the tent is NOT designed for back country camping- good weather only. Check outdoorgearreview channel on utube, he has several examples. And Walmart does carry klymit air pads, which imo are more comfortable, smaller, and durable.
ОтветитьCheap camp stuff is good to use a few times in good weather. As soon as its cold or rainy or windy the cheap stuff is trash.
ОтветитьHave you tried alcohol stoves.
ОтветитьI've bought a lot of gear from Wal Mart and if you choose carefully, it's great gear! A heads-up- if you're looking for any cast iron, compare the camping isle to the pots n pans section, there's a price difference for the same size/brand (Lodge). Also, Goodwill and St. Vincent DePaul et al are wonderful resources too! I bought a 2-burner working Coleman for $7.00.
ОтветитьI enjoyed that, you have a great tone of voice for audio.. great information..
ОтветитьHow can you say over landing on a budget : the 4x4 Jeep looks very pricy
Ответить
