ME has the most intense combat I've ever experienced in any game

I've beaten this game on Insanity with first an Adept, then a Soldier. I noted the Soldier playthrough was SIGNIFICANTLY easier... That said, all classes are capable of beating Insanity if you use them properly - I'm doing a playthrough with an Engineer, lol. Just... Good tip here, eh, do try to keep your squad mates alive - they'll keep you alive. Make sure you're always taking point. Make sure they're relatively solid hp wise too, characters like Miranda get mopped up in five seconds, lol.

the only way to beat it on insanity, is with a soldier, geth pulse rifle, cain nuke gun, and heavy fortification. im currently doing it right now. my second play through with my fem shep. i also have a male which i imported. i beat it with him aswell on normal. im doing two different endings where destroy collectors base, and one where i give it to ilussive man

Vanguards kick ass. I had to be rushed to the hospital several times while playing me2. Mostly because i tried to do the charge ability different objects in my room. But just using it in the game gave me a heart attack.

As a soldier, my Sniper Rifle and Adrenaline rush carried me through Insanity. Thumb rule number one: Always engage the enemy at maximum range.

is this game easy to run at all high settings?

might be tough as hell, Im doing Sentinel on Insanity cause the up-close thing on Vanguard tactics might be a bitch to overcome

Ugh, trying to get Garrus mission done an Insanity with a Vanguard. Trying to close that shutter in the basement is brutal.

Against armor,incendary ammo is the way to go.

Oh yeah hands down. NEVER NEVER NEVER let ur squad mates run around, park em in the back behind cover and keep em there. I do pick their targets for them, that helps, but the second they start getting funny ideas they are dead. I wonder if its possible to play as Vanguard on Insanity, probably gonna try that next.

Nah inflitrator is really hard on insanity, with no mods ur sniper rifle only has ten shots. Thats not enough for any encounter.

@DeltaBravo81 are you kidding me?squad useless? the squad is half of the success.i guess you just put the biggest and strongest characters into your team,not the tactically usefull ones?damn...

This vid put a lot of my fears to rest. I was afraid that by the insane difficulty, the devs would spam the enemies health like they did last game. Its fairly easy to kill them but its NOT a one way street. The gameplay looks challenging and I'm excited to play it this week.
