Climbing in Rental shoes & Gloves - CHALLENGE

Amazing energy and such a humble person Magnus. I am new to climbing, tried climbing few weeks ago at the age of 40 and fell in love! so thank Martre, you are an amazing motivator for me, I enjoy your progress and commitment :)

The “barely climbing challenge” climb while drunk

Would be nice if climbs were proportional to limb size🤣 I'm 5'5-6 so my only choice is to build up my strength, lose some more weight and practice dyno's where a guy at 5'8 and above can just reach lmao I managed to do my first Dyno on a 6 a the other day, only a small one but It got me up the wall.

I feel less bad that I can’t get heel hooks & regularly slip on small holds in rental shoes.

Meanwhile me, just wearing rental shoes and socks for a normal boulder session with friends...

Im new to climbing and did a v3 with rental shoes on my first day. It's truly addicting. I've been lifting weights for 9 years and I'm verging into bouldering. My next day is my 3rd day and I've been watching countless videos on body positions, techniques and just watching people climb. Love it!! Buying shoes tomorrow

Loved this. And I would love to see videos of you two traveling and climbing. The video where you were in S. Korea or Japan and went to the worst rated gym was fun...it would be interesting to see ou do that in more big city destinations. You two climbing together is fun to watch.

As someone who climbs only in rental shoes so far (my climbing gyms rentals are just so cheap I cannot justify buying my own unless get more serious) I feel somewhat validated by watching Magnus climb in them.
