Thank you do much I just fixed my reel that small tiny spring how annoying what if you completely lost that spring what can you use as a replacement just out of curiosity because my spring while trying to fix it part of it broke off

the mini backnut wouldnt unscrew even with some grips and full strength dont know why people feel the need to tighten like that

The problem managed to somehow fix itself when I was taking the reel apart, so in the end I didn't really have to do anything special

So I have 1 like the 1st 1 u did I put the spring back on but was still not wrkng so I tied them together instead of the spring so now it's anti reverse

When ever the reel lock fails to function, it is a small spring that has come off or broken.

Mate, your video was so helpful, I thought I was gonna have to buy a new reel, I pulled it apart and sure enough, that tiny spring had popped off, it was a bit of a pain to get it back on but in less than a 2 mins the reel was fixed… thanks heaps man..

Might wanna reshoot this one with a better camera, the visuals were basically useless

I tried this it fixed it but I can’t put the bit with the bail arm on properly because the bit the stopper nut needed to screw onto wasn’t sticking out I took pictures it’s all the same but the stopper nut cant screw on

i have the first problem. i lost mine tho. please messege me if u know an external link to get a new one. i know its such a small piece n most likely wont have one and probably just worth buying a new one but it was a gift and its the only piece im missing

Thanks my friend. I had a reel I was about to toss in the garbage. Watched your video and discovered the spring had sprung. I toom a spring out of a pen, it was way too big, but I doubled the spring and it has corrected teh problem 100%. Thank you for posting this.
