The albums full of doll photos is for insurance purposes. My neighbor has a huge collection and has done the same thing.
ОтветитьI between those Barbies and the singer, at least 50 grand
ОтветитьIts bad that they cant save a beautiful housse like this
ОтветитьJeremy!!!!!! We saw you in Walkersville, had my kids look you up. Love you boo!
ОтветитьYou should be careful some of those old houses have asbestos in them I would consider wearing protection going thru them. I don't understand why a museum doesn't find a way to preserve all those antiques.
Ответитьi just came across this video today, what a beautiful house. I would love to see it when it is fully restored. As anyone ever told you that you have a great voice.
ОтветитьI would have had a VERY hard time leaving that sewing machine there. I would love to make something with that!!
ОтветитьI find these explorations sooo interesting. But seeing all these hidden treasures rotting away without being saved and preserved breaks my heart. 😢
ОтветитьOmg the blue box dolls!!!! My mother had a small collection of them! They are worth a bunch!
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьThis stuff needs to be salvaged! Not left to rot is the house. Thanks for showing us
ОтветитьI think that white door was a laundry shoot
ОтветитьDon’t understand the woman with the doll obsession, it’s weird to me kinda. But cool home
ОтветитьHow it possible noone protecting it??😢
ОтветитьQue Belleza
ОтветитьThose are just the dolls left behind by the looters imagine how many more were originally there
ОтветитьIt just sold for 6.5 million!
ОтветитьAbsolutely MAGNIFICENT! Truly forgotten treasure!
ОтветитьIt was sad to see the once warmth of a beautiful home rot like that. I was glad to hear it is being restored and will be looking forward to its renovation. I hope they invite you back.
ОтветитьSuch a neat home and it's heartwarming that you appreciate architecture. I grew up in small historical neighborhood that had homes with similar features. My close friend's house has similar wood features at the top of the archways. The house next door still had a crank phone on the landing. FYI - This house was beautifully restored and sold for $6.5M in January. I'm glad someone saved it.
ОтветитьHow do you go about finding these places? Ive always wanted to explore like this but dont even know where to start.
ОтветитьIt's almost like the family could come home and walk in any minute.
ОтветитьIt's an auto harp.
ОтветитьSome of these things should be in a museum.
ОтветитьI was born in 1958. My parents in 1922 and 24 who are gone now so I can appreciate many of these things. Some of them I've seen before growing up in a Victorian.
ОтветитьAll those dolls are collector's items. I see Madame Alexander dolls there.
ОтветитьIt's a laundry chute. You throw your laundry down to a rolling basket below. Saves running up and down stairs.
ОтветитьJust goes to prove we can't take none of it with us...only our memories. ❤
ОтветитьThey’ve stripped it of its vintage charm and modernized the entire interior.
ОтветитьThis is neat !I have been to Nashville ,TN lots of times !My daughter Caroline went to Vanderbilt for her autism !We live about four hours from Nashville ,TN
ОтветитьI wander when this was filmed and I wander if some one bought it and renovated it
ОтветитьGreat find! Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching.
ОтветитьI would like to remodel it and take over ownership of it please get back with me thank you
ОтветитьWow this is a view in the past, in some ones life like a memory and this is sad to watch, we hoard so many things to leave them behind, this is a problem with many of us and a burden to the soul. There are this Tibetan monks that work meticulously on a beautiful mandala full of colors made of fine sand, and after the work is done they destroy it. Do not bound yourself to earthly objects for everything is ephemeral .
ОтветитьNo will or an executor of the estate? I would think someone wealthy would have a will.
ОтветитьLooks like some water damage on the ceiling. Such a shame! Looks like a dumb waiter. I thought one of the bathrooms would have a bidet.
ОтветитьVery interesting. Light quality on video, terrible.
ОтветитьIt’s so wrong to leave all those valuable antiques, with so many people homeless and struggling, and all that money just just rotting away. There must be some way of making use of it all.
ОтветитьMost of her dolls were Madame Alexander dolls who was famous for her designs. Yes some of them are worth a lot.
Ответитьلماذا تهمل هذه البيوت الجميله لهذا الحد
ОтветитьDude I would recommend wearing some kind of mask while exploring these properties, there’s black mold & mold spores.
ОтветитьAbsolutely beautiful mansion. So many memories. This was bitter sweet... it brought tears to my eyes. It once was a home with a family. They had lives, hopes, dreams, hobbies... you showed respect.
It's nice to know the family restored the mansion.
Places like this remind us that when we die, everything we once possessed simply decays. It's humbling.
ОтветитьI would love to know what the family did with all the antiques in the house, especially the doll house, the army uniforms. and all the dolls, where they donated or sold to a museum?
ОтветитьMy heart is sad,
ОтветитьWhy do people leave these houses to rot? Understand that people pass away but most people have relatives or friends they can leave their stuff to. I’ve watched several of these videos and always wonder, why isn’t someone in the family taking care of their stuff? 😐
ОтветитьAwesome, thanks.
ОтветитьMy body is having an allergic fit just watching this walk through
ОтветитьHard to hear the narrator over the annoying background music.
ОтветитьThank you all for watching! Make sure to stay until later in the video to hear the rest of the story and uncover what ultimately happened to this incredible place. 🏰🔎
