Beyond Sol | A Mission to Proxima Centauri in KSP / RSS / RO

I've been getting a LOT of questions about torque cancellation from the rotating habitats, so here's why they both rotate in the same direction:
Both habitats are from a mod, and the mod includes counterrotating counterweights on each of the centrifuge parts, individually canceling out the torque on each centrifuge. There was no option to remove the counterweights on the parts, so I didn't bother making both centrifuges counterrotating as it didn't matter torque-wise and was easier to launch.

Pretty cool! The crew shuttle would've launched to orbit in a heads down configuration tho due to the mass offset on the 2nd stage. But besides that, pretty cool 😎

I got a question when I go interstellar my craft when between systems because 50% less visible you can see through it but you can still see it it flickers and everything and sometimes blows up randomly Do you know how to fix this Bug ? I have been able to do what you did get things into orbit but like I said it blows up when im almost to the other star system

how does your daedalus engine plumes look like that?

Idk if this has been asked elsewhere already, but why rotate the habitats when you could just rotate the whole ship? Rotating the habitat just introduces friction.

you are an absolute genius. i was trying to design a plausible proxima B colony that could be created in the next 100 years, but i had big problems with the engines. i was thinking about the ISV using a antimatter torch drive but antimatter is way too expensive... and i was stupid enough to not think about using MULTIPLE other engines smh...

If someone made a mod which added the KSP system as an onterstellar destination from our solar system that would be so cool!

how did you make Far Future Technologies and Interstellar Extended work together

The fuel tanks on your rocket, are they from Near Future Launch Vehicles?
And if so, how did you get them to work with Realism Overhaul and Real Fuels?
It doesn’t let me customize the fuel tanks in my game.

Really good video, just a quick note that the habitation rings should have oposing spins, other wise irl the ship would be unstable. Also if you have KSPIE you could just use the accubular drive and get there with no hassle in about an hour in game time
