i grew up around alfalfa hay here in Oklahoma but our weather is humid and often wetter in the spring and then in late fall . we are lucky if we get three cuttings. our second cutting is usually our best hay. i'm old now so i leave it up to the younger generation to continue. i still love the smell of fresh cut hay. God Bless the Farmers of America!

I was scouting for dove hunting spots in Dell City, TX a few years ago and I swear, the people there were so nice!! I must have looked lost and sweaty walking around all the alfalfa fields and scaring doves, but a bunch of people stopped to say hi and ask if I needed a ride haha!
