Man those 5 people around that board had drifted way out there. Lucky someone saw them and offered a tow. A lot of these boats will just not care.

What is the reason for so many problems? Lack of proper training, lack of oversight or just irresponsibility?

It's incredible the number of people who pilot their boats in a stupid and irresponsible way, putting not only passengers but everyone around them at risk. Likewise, it is also frightening to see that bathers and jet ski pilots ignore other larger vessels as if it were possible to brake and dodge them easily.

Stupidity, alcohol, arrogance and water do not mix at all. We see it in even all the lakes we have here, much less an oceanic area.

How far out werre these people, what werre they thinking. Even the fact that they were that far out should not have to necessitate they waved for help. Amybody could gather from the circumstances that this was not a good situation. And of course it wat left to the waterscooters to come to the rescue. Not a single boat offered to take these people on board. That would not have happened in my county!!!

Anywhere else when the raccoons comes out in daytime it’s Rabies. Not FLorida, it’s common to see them running alongside the road on the outside of the trees etc.

This is why I am a mountain man, as people of the mountains always help eachother, and if I die out there, its that Nature has claimed me on tearms I can agree with, but I stay away from people with too much money, as they are USELESS to Humanity. I would rather have to eat my own foot as poor man, then have to count on depending on a-holes like this. Coodoos to the man on the Jet Ski, however I would have as captian of the Jet Ski demanded that my friend on other jet ski lend a hand, as rescuing 5 people with one jet ski is a bet beyond what should have been divied up between the 2.
Such a Shame, as I really love the Ocean, but I can not stand the mentality of Rich A-holes who rather drink then lend a hand to help others.

I can't really tell how much traffic is going thru here but IT IS an Inlet meaning boat traffic can move at speed(whatever is safe?).... there must be a RIP Tide moving thru the
narrow sea bound run & the winds can probably offer their own dangers. Together, IDKnow but it LQQKs like an accident looking for a place to happen? And for an open
boat inlet there's sure a lot of party types hanging along the sides? Some out near the boating lanes & all of this makes for a deadly combination? It's not a place that I'd
bring any younger kids to play, maybe not even middle aged? Too much action, too many visible dangers, & the variables will Kill You. peace / be safe out there !!

Just love how those guys jumped in with flotation devices to help keep those gals and themsevles afloat while rescuing those gals!

So you get away from your crowded suburban home area so you can go and sit on a sand bank with the same amount of crowding and noise. How much coastline does the USA have again? Just because you are wealthy and afford a big flash boat does not mean you cant be an idiot and run it aground or try to cut people to shreds with your prop. Unfortunately drinking alcohol and water based entertainment do not mix well anywhere in the world and many people drown needlessly.

People love to bad mouth Jet Skiers, Personal Watercraft operators for being loud, reckless....but when someone on the water in need...who are always the first there...respect to all on the water, that actually pay attn. to everything going on around them...ps., I live on an island that an international sailing destination and fishing port...I see ppl on the water, watch out for each other
