Lord oh mighty. Nothing better than this!
ОтветитьAmen
ОтветитьI’m a car guy. You just made some onion jack stands! Love it!
ОтветитьSuper awesome recipe. We have made it several times. We started adding a splash of whiskey and some homemade beef tallow to the broth! Thank you for your continuing to bring sunshine into our homes.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing!!!
Definitely looks delicious dinner !!!
I can almost taste it !!!
Bay leaves aren't digestible and can get lodged into the digestive system
ОтветитьMy wife and I are having an argument about the week long marination of the beef. I have a strong chemistry background and am confident a week in the wine and vinegar is only going the help the tenderness of the roast. My wife won't eat anything in the fridge longer than 2 days at most. She doesn't trust my knowledge of food chemistry. Any insights an M.D. of your distinction can offer to help me persuade her to try this wonderful recipe?
ОтветитьFantastic. A privilege to sit at your table and partake of this beautiful feast. God bless our veterans.
ОтветитьWhen Mom made soup with bay leaf, whoever got the leaf had good luck, much like the baby in the king cake. No basis on anything, just our house.
ОтветитьGod bless this gentleman
He is a great treasure
Long Live Cowboys.....oh, and Cowgirls too, chow down!
ОтветитьI love praying with you and Shannon
ОтветитьI have tasted a bay leaf. They taste pretty good.
ОтветитьMy Mom would make a fine pot roast. I can't stand carrots. It's still wasted on me if there are carrots anywhere around.
ОтветитьKent-my name is Trip Martin and I just recently discovered you and your wonderful program! I grew up in Sweetwater, Texas. My grandmothers and great aunts made some of the best roast on the Lord’s green earth! You bring back some of the dearest memories for me! Thank you for your fantastic program and the Lord Jesus bless you and your wife! I’ll be watchin’!
ОтветитьWe love you too…god bless you.
ОтветитьLove watching you. I was just told Bay Leaves are good for adding flavor but the human body cant digest them. Apparently they can tear the insides up.
ОтветитьI will try this. Thank you. I’m glad you believe in Jesus our savior. I also believe Richard in Dallas
Ответить4 dollars a plate is not 8 dollars a plate FJB
ОтветитьOnion bumpers... Never heard that said before. But I do like the idea 💡.
The little trick about clearing the fire ring... Learned that back in Scouts growing up.
The only thing that was missing from that pot roast was bread and butter alongside.😁
I learned to cook from my Mom and her Mom...Like you Mr. Rollins they both taught me about life and cooking.
Miss them both....Mom passed on while I was over in Afghanistan in 2010 with the Marines.
I have no idea if its true but I've always heard you can choke on dry bay leaves. They are flat and tough so they can get stuck in your throat if swallowed.
ОтветитьGod bless the cowboy that loves their mama & respects his country’s service men & women.
ОтветитьKen, you're a culinary genius. As a connoisseur of the art, I like to sear the meat first in the iron. Then add a good squeeze of balsamic glaze and a very generous crakin of pepper while your in there with the W sauce.
ОтветитьI inherited my mom and grand ma's cast iron. Some of the pieces are probably a hundred years old. Mr. Kent your pot roast is pretty much like mine and my ma's; I add a cup of red wine to the pot liquor !
ОтветитьThat Roast looks wicked!!❤️❤️❤️👍👍
ОтветитьI got a white tail deer the neck roast weed 21 pounds😊

ОтветитьMade a stew one time and Montana in a Dutch oven started it in the morning. Where do where do you then? The ground with hot coals underneath our clothes on top. And when fishing that day we got back. Pull that touch up-and-up. Out there. Oh yeah. It was good
