Great video Lonnie. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💞❤️🥰🤗
ОтветитьI very rarely do auctions anymore. They're most effective if you have something with a lot of demand. Usually, if I have something that I think could go high but I'm not sure, I'll list it crazy high and see what happens. Last year, I got a carved dog in a box lot (it was dirty and looked like nothing special) so my COG was only about 50 cents. It was beautiful (after I cleaned it) and I found that it was Italian and signed. I looked up comps and found some that had sold for $50, all the way up to $900, but the average price was somewhere around $200. All the dogs were unique and different breeds, so it was hard to pin down. I listed mine at $500 and waited. I got some scammy inquiries and some super low bids, so I kept waiting. About six months later, I lowered the price to $299. And waited. About two months after that, I sold it for $230. It was the kind of thing where an auction wouldn't have done me much good, but by waiting it out and adjusting my price, I got a number I was happy with.
ОтветитьVery appropriate shirt on Candace, In PA it's very hazy and smells awful.
ОтветитьI LOVE auctions. I have sold several items for higher than I would listed it as a "buy it now". I, personally, would try it. My rare items are the ones that get bidding wars. You might be surprised. Just start at at what you would do a "but it now" for. What do you have to lose?
Ответитьtoo many non payers on ebay auctions
ОтветитьI know you guys said that you combine shipping...but how about if calculated shipping way over charges the customer...and you are able to ship it much cheaper...even thought they paid the higher amount...do you feel obligated to refund the difference? This has happened several times with calculated shipping
ОтветитьI know your buddies with Justin from Rva flips. How has he been? I miss his channel.
ОтветитьHair's looking good Lonnie! You cant even tell its a dye job!
ОтветитьSad to see Einstein, such much potential. Candace is now a toy maker.
ОтветитьLonnie, you have great hair color 😂
ОтветитьCandice, what size boxes do you use for MH dolls? Any tips for cleaning them? Also are the parts hands, arms, feet specific to each doll? Found a bunch at a sale yesterday. Thanks!!
ОтветитьAuctions have their place. We had a couple 78 Rpm records. We knew they were rare but no comps were found. One we started at $1000 and got 1 bid. The other we started at $450 just on a guess. It sold for $950. We were surprised because this was way higher than expected But sometimes you just get two bidders who go nuts. So we do just a couple auctions a week.
ОтветитьLove your videos but you have to do some video editing to filter out your Air conditioner noise it's loud
ОтветитьWhat are some ways you find garage sales in your area besides Facebook?
ОтветитьI been watching you guys for a few years and have learned a lot. Thank you for all the great content. I get a laugh or two most times. I was garage selling this weekend and stumbled across a nut cracker. Because of you guys, I knew it was a Steinbach without even picking it up. This one is the "Potter" Do you happen to have one?
ОтветитьI’ve just ordered a couple of things from your eBay store. Thank You for the great deals I’m a huge fan I’ve been watching since before there was a shed. If you ever come across any more pocket or fixed blade knives. Thank You both GOD BLESS YOU BUDDY AND YOUR FAMILY. GIVE MY LITTLE BUDDY 🐕A HUG FROM ME 🐕🫶🏽🇺🇸🐕🐕🐕🫶🏽🙏👍⬆️☮️🤝🫡✝️😊🤛🏼🤜🏽🗡️⚔️👊🏽🐕🐕
ОтветитьThe moral of this video is that Lonnie don't feel like doin' it. 😂
Ответить👍🏼✌🏼
ОтветитьOn rare items it takes the "RIGHT" buyer. That buyer may not be on Ebay during the time the auction runs...
ОтветитьLonnie your hair look maaarvolous! Love the color ----and Candice yours too.
ОтветитьYou can now do an auction with a Buy it now price as well at no extra cost. This would capture the impulsive/drunk buyers and yet still have a chance of getting a higher price via the auction.
I always list my items as auctions for first 20 days if they fail to sell I just list as BIN but I always start my auctions at my minimum selling price. The days of 99p/c auctions have long gone.
Thanks for directing us to FJ Treasures about the bubble wrap. Very very enlightening. Love you two and Lonnie love your haircut and color.
ОтветитьI once sold 2 one of a kind original cover art for Ghost Rider Comics (Mark Texieria cover artist). I didn't know how to price them so I thought I would start high and sold both in about 45 seconds (instant regret). I believe I got $800 each but I suspect they were worth thousands each... aargh.
ОтветитьNo procreation here.........Splinter (niece) Knothead (nephew)
ОтветитьGreat video Lonnie and Candice 😊have a great weekend 😊
Ответитьlol, he priced the cookbook correctly. As someone who just bought 2000 cookbooks for the second time in his life, I say good job!
ОтветитьHi, In Ohio, had to change my format to Buy it Now. In Ohio you have to have a Auctioneer License to sell on line on Auction Format. It's expensive to get the State License and you have to continue classes.
ОтветитьI'm offended over the excessive use of the "c" word
Ответить👍
ОтветитьNow I have that laugh in my head LOL. You two crack me up 😅😂
ОтветитьWe get 500 free auction per month on toys and collectables at our store level. We use all 500 every month and see a increase of final price on at least 15% of the items. We LOVE Auctions, but we start them at the lowest price we need. Penny auctions are crazy!!!
ОтветитьWhat I want to know is how those rats and mice got on a boat out in the middle of the ocean.
ОтветитьCandice your makeup looks flawless today beautiful
Ответитьoh... we gotta sneak in a short clip of Lonnie Grumbling about editing... 🤣
ОтветитьHere’s an example of when I used an auction. I had a yellow vintage cardigan. I found two sold comps for something like $30 and $50, but they were gray not yellow. I found one listed on Etsy that was yellow and listed at $250. I wasn’t sure if I should price based on the gray sold comps or the listed yellow item. What would you have done? I decided to run an auction and start it at $99. If it sold at $99 or more, I’d be happy. If it didn’t, I’d know that Etsy seller was just pricing crazy high. I put it on auction for 7 days. It got one bid and sold for $99.
ОтветитьI have clicked all kinds of drunk shopping 😂
ОтветитьBTW, I ❤ your relationship! You are so positive and fun to watch! Thank you!!!
ОтветитьWith the USPS change regarding first class shipping/parcel post , do we need to adjust current listings or will it happen automatically?
ОтветитьAre the nut crackers cross posted I only see sales on eBay
ОтветитьI try an auction once in awhile, but typically they won't sell on the auction, then I'll turn around and list it for the same price with a BIN, and it sells. And when comping, I agree, if you see a ridiculously low comp, it's almost always an auction. I know typically if I want something, I want to buy it right now. I don't want to spend 3 days, 5 days, a week waiting to see if I can have it or not.
ОтветитьThere were domesticated dogs before the settlers came to the Americas.
ОтветитьIf you are running out of room in the shed it might be time to list cards for a week or so. When my listed inventory area starts getting full then I start listing smaller items for a while.
ОтветитьIt's "YAY Man" Thanks for the answer.
ОтветитьHi guys. I’m a new reseller from England. Can you go through a few of your cleaning tips please. Cheers
ОтветитьAuctions are great for buying, but I can't remember the last auction I did, although I do miss the thrill of selling via auctions back in the day.
ОтветитьAuctions are good. I often filter my searches to auction to cut down the huge amount of listings. Start the auction with a high starting price. I promise so many buyers only search auctions.
ОтветитьAre you referring to a Sphinx Cat.???
ОтветитьI am now running an auction on a t-shirt that I have no idea if it is value or not so I stated it at $25.00 to see if there is any interest. If not I will probely take it off auction and throw it away.
ОтветитьI can't wait to see a total of the nutcrackers at the end of the year great buy
Ответить
