You never get over a loss like the first performer felt. You learn to live with it.

As a baby there is a lot lower risk of infection than say a 5/6 year old because it’s solely on the parent to keep it clean and make sure it’s not too tight. Kids don’t think to care for their ears at toddler or small child’s age. It’s traditionally the mother in my family that takes the little girls to get our ears pierced. Just as a bonding experience that grows. I’m glad my mom got mine done as a baby. I don’t remember it at all and I know as a child I loved wearing earrings and getting my moms old ones and putting them on during dress up, I loved it. Many of my memories with my mother are of me putting on her old clothes and jewelry. I don’t see the big deal. I’m pretty sure other cultures do this too for different reasons lol, but I don’t think this is child abuse at all. That baby won’t even remember the pain within an hour or two or feel it. Unless, again, the parent doesn’t care for the piercing. If your going to choose to have your child’s ears stabbed with a needle, properly care for it.

I can related to first one guy who sang a song he dedicated to his friend who pass away because I had loves one who pass away. I miss them and I know they at peace now.🎤✌️😭
