Just get in the box & start hacking already
ОтветитьDid anyone ever take a first pitch, fastball and drill it to the gap harder than Nomah?????
ОтветитьImagine -- a player who gets far more applause from an opposing team's fans than he ever does from his home-town fans.
When you think about it, that's really sad. No matter where he plays, Fenway is still his home. And home is where he belongs.
He sucked
Ответитьdo you realize what you have to do to get that crowd to cheer for an away player?
ОтветитьJeter>Nomar
ОтветитьOakland A's legend Nomah Gahciapahrah
ОтветитьNoMAAA
ОтветитьWatching in 2021. Clapped with the crowed. I modeled my game after this guy, my favorite player growing up and until this day. People even said I looked like him, wore 15 to give it my own little spice but had to have #5 in there. Nothing will compare to watching sports center just to see him play.
ОтветитьI was there. Successfully planned a trip there in advance, anticipating his return, even with his frequent trips to the DL
ОтветитьWhat an odd matchup. John Smoltz, in a Red Sox uniform, against Nomar Garciaparra, as a A.
ОтветитьThat is one good head of hair!
Ответитьstraight F-in class right there. Not hard to do. Its not selfish, some ballplayers would think that and its unprofessional, but give your fans an acknowledgement. He did. Kudos to that dude.
ОтветитьThe 9 people who disliked this video have no heart!
ОтветитьNomar was the man back in the day. Always wished they won in 03 when he was still around, or brought him back for the 07 run, but unfortunately it was never meant to be.
ОтветитьI'm still has Normar red sox jersey and I met him in townline bowling lane in Malden before he got trade to oakland
ОтветитьDude was really good overall for a short period of time
ОтветитьBeautiful moments, that's Baseball !!!
ОтветитьHappy birthday, Nomah!
ОтветитьWow I actually remember watching this live. In Cleveland growing up I always looked up to Lofton, Vizquel and Alomar, but always admired Nomar in that list.
ОтветитьMy favorite returning player moment ever.
ОтветитьDamn, don’t even remember Nomar played for the A’s.
ОтветитьI'm an Atlanta Braves fan, a Lakers fan and a New York Giants fan, but I gotta be honest here, the GREATEST fans in all of sports, that honor belongs to Red Sox fans... You guys are incredible
ОтветитьSox fans love and understand the game like few others.
Ответитьnomar should of been a red sox for life instead of a steroid aided 2004 world series dump. red sox ownership acts like they are a small market franchise - they are not. their owner is one of the richest owners in sports. its a shame for the fans really - when i think of nomar i think of a man disrespected.
ОтветитьBarring injuries, he is a first year hall of famer.
Ответитьno one better in his prime, had it not being for injuries he woulda been first ballot HOF.
ОтветитьSmart move by Theo to trade away Nomar for Orlando Cabrera. Nomar was too much of a muscle head and while his stats were off the charts, he could not stay on the field. Jeter made the HOF and Nomar did not.
ОтветитьNomaaahhhh
ОтветитьStill my favorite player of all time
ОтветитьOne day Nomar will be in the Hall of Fame like he should be.
Ответитьso nice to see him get 'the love'
ОтветитьI feel so lucky to have been following he redsox when he came up as a rookie. I kept telling myself..wow im watching a special gifted player and he's playing for MY home team! Pedro & Nomar together forever.
ОтветитьThe prodigal son returns.
ОтветитьThe reason I wore #5 in sports in middle and high school. My favorite RedSox as a kid. Was crushed when we traded him.
ОтветитьI have a RED SOX 5 GARCIAPARRA jersey. Also CUBS 5, DODGERS 5, and ATHLETICS 1 GARCIAPARRA jerseys.
ОтветитьOne of the games I’ll never forget being there for. Received the loudest cheers I’ve ever heard.
ОтветитьI still hate that Nomar wasn’t on the team that ended the 86 year drought
ОтветитьWhy would he leave Boston when he was so loved by their fans?
ОтветитьThis is why I LOVE baseball!
ОтветитьThe executive who traded Nomar should be banned from baseball forever
ОтветитьNomar was amazing!!!
Ответитьmlb 역사상 최고의 간지남, 노마가르시아파라!!!
ОтветитьNomar did Roids...
ОтветитьI was actually at this game, though at the time I was just 9 and didn't fully understand everything he meant to the city. I do now and I'm happy I was able to be there to give him a hand.
ОтветитьRIP Wake
ОтветитьI remember those early 2000s years. Before the rings, there was nomar. It was who’s the top SS in the game? A rod, Nomar or Tejada..and Nomar was OURS.
ОтветитьThe way he was treated by the team sucked...he was our best player for years. Injuries messed up his career. Wish they had handled it better. The new Netflix doc doesn't make him look good in terms of how he handled it.
