What is that leather strap please
ОтветитьHow is going now? I have really hard time to make decisions between this and auto one:( I like this model more because of the simplicity... The auto a little shiny dres watch! And I hear bad things about this new mechanical.
ОтветитьFinally got mine last weekend. Love it. Very simple and legible but also handsome and interesting. The lume is bright but, more importantly, long-lasting. Mine came with the leather Nato, which is thin enough that it doesn't make the watch look or feel bulky. If it's in your price range and you've been looking for a field watch with classic charm, get one of these.
ОтветитьHave you tried demagnetizing your watch?
Ответитьnicely done reviews. I just got it in pvd Version for a sale..
ОтветитьIs it any better than the CWC G10?
ОтветитьWish it had writing above the ‘18’ paralell to the Hamilton written on the dial it looks too plain. Anyone agree with me?
Ответить40-50 seconds fast daily can't be right..talk to Hamilton
ОтветитьLove it! I just got mine today
ОтветитьGreat review. My only question is why you didn't have this serviced under warranty given its failure in keeping precise time.
ОтветитьThank you for your honest and knowledgeable review of this watch. I do own The Hamilton Khacki Green Officer Watch, H694390, in olive green. It has the canvas/leather strap with eyelet holes. I have had it for 4 months and has been worn daily. It is the perfect size for my small 6.75 inch wrist. With my poor eyesight, the white numbers jump out and tell me the time easily. The seconds lollipop style is classy and easily seen as well. My only negative is that the date at 3 spot is small and hard for me to read. Not a problem for most people though. The band has finally settled down and gently fits my hand perfectly. I enjoy the subtleness, and thinness. It is very easy to wear and is not over powering. I look forward to your future reviews. Thank you!
ОтветитьIf you can swim with a Timex expedition scout which has a push pull crown, then you damn well be able to swim with this on, otherwise it's a pretty crap field watch
ОтветитьGot the white dial on the nato earlier this week. so far so good! At 500 USD it's a fantastic piece.
ОтветитьMine is still at +4 after a year, must have gotten a dud.
ОтветитьNice review! I bought this last night brand new from an AD for 253 USD!!! Insane value! Is there any update recently to this video? Love to hear your thoughts
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention, that the today's Hamilton is produced by Swatch in Switzerland with a swatch movement because swatch bought the brandname. So this hamilton has nothing of the spirit of the old US company.
It's the same like Ray Ban which is now owned and produced by an italian company.
Hi! If after 9 months your watch went from a few seconds off per day to 40-50 seconds off per day, it likely means that it is magnetized. It is nothing horrible and any watchmaker can unmagnetize it for you very fast with the right instrument. It should be quite cheap as well.
ОтветитьHey since you're talking about how you're watch did, I'll tell you about mine, I bought a watch for 80 dollars, because I wanted an automatic watch but I couldn't really afford it, so I bought an Invicta and I've been wearing it for 3 years now and it still keeps time.
ОтветитьIt's a very nice watch. 80 hrs power reserve is great, but I usually wear a watch for a week before swapping so I still have to wind it anyway! I wasn't sure about whether this style was for me so got an Addies pilot style watch with a Seiko NH35, 41 hr power reserve, +7 spd, brushed Stainless Steel finish, sapphire crystal, signed crown, engraved back, 200m water resistance.....all for €75. The lume is bright and all night. Anyway I've decided I do like this style, but with an excellent watch on my wrist for 4 times less, I definitely won't get a Hamilton. Excellent and honest review.
ОтветитьGrat watch, thank you for showing
ОтветитьIs there a polished version of this model?
Ответитьloved the history and the review. quick, informative and to the point.
Question -- since the power reserve is greater does this affect how smooth the second hand moves/sweeps?
Awwwe the glorious Hamilton Cocky. Great watch!
Ответитьsounds like my next watch.
ОтветитьWhat about monthly accuracy ?
ОтветитьI just bought one and concerned by your comment "as long as the movement holds up". That and quite a few examples online of the movement breaking while being wound. I may return mine, not sure I have the confidence in the H50 to hold on to it.
ОтветитьI absolutely love this looks of this watch, my only gripe is that I would want it with a display caseback to show off some of the inner workings of a mechanical watch(even if not so finished or detailed as a watch made with a display caseback in mind).
ОтветитьThat watch is magnetized bro
ОтветитьTry getting it demagnetized.
ОтветитьWhat’s your wrist size pls?
ОтветитьI've never understood why these are so popular. Ridiculously long lugs, with crappy AR coating and horrible lume. Not to mention the most boring dial and an ugly dull finishing on the case. 🤢🤮
ОтветитьWhere is the longer term follow up?
ОтветитьBeautiful watch, been considering it for months. Pretty as it is, tho, IMO the dial's too busy. Wish they'd cut the second markers back a bit, giving more space for the arabics.
ОтветитьJust got my watch today , and I wore it for the first time and the power reserve only lasted 12 hours , maybe I winded it wrong but also I accidentally dropped it on wooden floor from 3 feet . Will update
ОтветитьPlanning to buy the dark brown one and put it on a lizard leather strap. A bit nervous about what you mentioned about the movement since I have a Hamilton Bolton mechanical that has the exact same engine.
Ответить自分も持っています!素晴らしい時計です!
ОтветитьHi to everyone!! I’m in love with this watch it’s history and heritage and I’m thinking of getting one but I’m really skeptical when it comes to its crown…I read that it’s really easy to break it while winding it…like because of the fact that they extended their battery to 80 hours this has made the needle inside way smaller hence easier to break it…what do you think? Does this watch comes with the durability that you would expect from a field watch? Thank you all in advance!!
Ответитьdid you have some "fogging issues" with this watch? the internet is riddled with the Hamilton Khaki Field having condensation and such.
ОтветитьI have this in the dark brown case and face with stock fabric NATO band (dark green). For me it’s the perfect combination. The silky smooth wind makes me feel oh so good. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
ОтветитьDid you experience scratch problem ?
ОтветитьI've had mine for 22 months. Still looks like a brand-new watch. Runs like one too, at under +2 seconds per day. No complaints or issues.
ОтветитьI bought a few of the Hamiltons as gifts. I kept the field khaki mechanical but plan on selling it. It’s not my cup of tea. Without a screw down crown it’s not “field” enough for me.
ОтветитьI have one with the white dial. It’s my daily wear while at work (electrician)
Very comfortable and practical watch. Paid about £450.00 and I consider it value for money.
My cheapest watch, but possibly gets more wrist time than the others.
I love these watches but I don’t think they’d hold up against my day to day work, so I stick to a g shock and nice ones on the weekends
Ответитьانا معي ساعه هاميلتون ممكن اعرضها للبيع
ОтветитьI have this watch, love it👍❤️
ОтветитьThe low profile sells the watch. 5 star field watch for an Army Officer.
Ответитьwonder if this is something u still wear after all these years
ОтветитьIs the crown sharp and does it dig in to your hand?
