Unfortunately the biggest strength of the warrior is also his biggest weakness : he depends entirely on his weapon to do correct DPS

Every expansion, same shit, go back to being useless until you get dem loot and be the strongest again

I remember our fury warrior back in the day. Just constantly would hear my GM yell his name in vain as he'd basically over aggro whenever he wanted and spent most of the time just auto attacking.

In modern Classic there is no big deal to get threat at Ony as fury warrior. Just switch to def stance, position her correctly and ask to switch heals on you.
