Logitech M570 - Why do I use a ten year old mouse.

Once you use this you will not go back to a normal mouse again!

I've used an M570 for years with my laptop, but I see reviews on Amazon complaining that Logitech has redesigned them (cheaper, not as durable) but kept the same Model No.

For my desktops I use Logitech T-RB22 wired trackballs which were discontinued long ago and now sell used for for more than I paid for my new ones.

How is the new version of it?

I've been using this model trackball since 1998, same design, same shape, so it's been around for awhile now.

Horse shit you got an old model of that mouse the more current ones use cheap microswitches for the buttons read online of all the failures ... the model preceding yours is wired and one I use I have 5 of them for different pcs. and all over 15 plus years old not a single failure. for people buying a new M570 you would need to upgrade the micro switches with quality ones in order to have the quality of mouse in your testimonial. And reason I have 5 of the older models is at that time wireless trackball did not exist and crawling under every PC desk to plug in a single trackball was not worth the effort of only owning 1 and also back then they were only $24 each
