Was just there (and walking around Burnaby Lake) yesterday! Brentwood will look similar to this in a number of years, too.

I used to live down there in that very area. Sad to see atleast semi obtainable housing for average Joes being destroyed for overseas money. I would happily give my life to prevent the rest of Canada being hollowed out for foreign interests the way Metrotown has been.

The "refugees" of the demovictions from these areas inevitably flee to where I have found myself, and further drive up housing costs, aside from foreign economic merceneries of other stripes flooding my area. I hate it. I hate the people that enable it. I hate the government that allows it. I HATE the so called "fellow citizens" that vote for it. Actual. Fucking. Scum.
