I know that South Africans will take exception to this constructive criticism
South Africans
Lol, you successfully gloated over the culture shocks so you do not annoy South Africans. For me culture shocks visiting South Africa were the sheer number of tin houses and informal settlements, the glaring poverty, the high levels of crime and racial inequality never seen in this world, also the country's ability to deteriorate to Zimbabwe levels but without sanctions, just misgovernence. That for me were the culture shocks.
Ответить"legs flowing with electricity" 😂😂😂. "pregnant mothers listening to music so that babies can be born dancing" 😂😂😂😂 your description is out of this world sister 😅😅
ОтветитьYou can even go to the mall, put your phone in a cabin, create your own pin, leave it charging there till it gets full, come back and unlock your cabin and take back your phone phone for free in the mall charging terminal

ОтветитьIt's not a dish, it's called a Vas kom.. there's a difference between a dish and a vas kom
ОтветитьSo do you want to tell me every household in Zimbabwe has a bathroom even the villages too
ОтветитьThus tru Madam
ОтветитьI actually laughed at the first one, which is us bathing inside a dish (locally known as vaskom). Because it reminded me of a friend of mine from Zim.
He stayed at my house for a few days and everyday I couldn't understand why he spilled water so much on the floor when he was bathing. Each time after taking a bath I had to give him a mop to wipe the floor until I asked him one day and he said, " we don't bath inside dishes in Zim".
And we also had an argument about that too. He insisted on calling it a dish and I called it a wash basin.😂😂😂
South Africa is now banana Republic. Crimes, murders. Fraud and corruption no other country can beat South Africa.
ОтветитьFun part we like music and we have so many djs

ОтветитьMore than anything else I loved your accent
ОтветитьYou glowing like mogal ❤
ОтветитьYou're beautiful and radiant, miss. Love from South Africa. ❤️
ОтветитьI'm South African and I'll say this, the excessive "fun" may easily lead to alcoholism and loss of focus in life. Many lives are being destroyed because of the inability to know when to stop. The government grants are great especially for elders but there are lazy young people who end up making lots of babies solely to sponge off the government and they become entitled. It creates a vicious cycle with their kids and promotes a bad culture. This money is taken in a bunch from tax payers. It's painful to see a whole R5000 going to tax when one earns even less. I feel like there should be a limit to how many children one can qualify to get grants for. There are pros and cons to everything and I commend you for trying to be positive and respectful throughout the video, but I'm sure you have your own objections. Know that I'm with you on your objections. All the best for your future. May your career open doors for you sis. Thanx for considering studying in our beautiful country.
ОтветитьThe type of bathing you described is found in places with high poverty / low class. Most bath with a bath or even shower.
Ответить❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьWhat a lovely experience God bless
Ответить“I knew my place. I knew not to involve myself in politics.”
We love respectful neighbours ❤
In Zim i was shocked that they still use that toilet where u squat , squat toilets and they use them as their bathrooms also that is why they are not use to the dish style coz they are use to splashing water all over the floor in that toilet, most houses ema loxini do not have tubs so they use a bucket or dish\basin in that toilet, that was my culture shock also when i went to Zim
