You can keep on pushing traditional semiconductor computers as far as lithography allows, and you can go as massively parallel as your power budget allows. I don't see quantum computers becoming anywhere near useful in the coming 10 years. Hell, nuclear fusion has seen better progress.

I dont think people realize just how important the advancement to the speed of material science is.

The ammount of undiscovered potential chemicals, alloys, and other materials is frankly staggering. The amount of stuff you could do if you had the right material is crazy.

The question remains can you use a quantum computer to discover materials that help build a quantum computer ad advance ivilisation as a whole.

Is their a material that is undiscovered that will be as revolutionary as steel or bronze.

The last time i investigated quantum computing i was told that you need a system next to the QC which is almost as massive as the calculation you are trying to do using the qbits.. meaning, you don't actually need the qbits in the first place.

Since we do not fully understand the quantum world, and this connect the
"both worlds" maby it is smart to try build a quantum computer, - and ofcorse it will put pressure on the "ordinary" computer

sheer fickle nature of quantum computing is what really gives it such a massive disadvantage against conventional computers. I do think quantum computers should still be developed and advanced because I do believe there will be a special use for them in the future, but for now, there need to be specially made in such a hugely inefficient way holds them back for any real practical use.

For the first time someone helped me understand what a quantum computer is. The key words were "data storage". I realize that's obvious to some but now I get it......I think. It seems to me the idea behind quantum computing is to allow the computer to "multitask" but on a crazy level.

The idea that because some discovery is "far away", therefore it's useless for investors, is... Such a stupid attitude?
The "gradient ascent" method of funding science is a surefire way to get stuck on a local maximum and spin your wheels without progress for decades, or until you switch to a better method.

Does it makes sense to relate dividing-by-zero undefinition and quantum uncertainty?
You can divide by zero, but when you do: all of the numbers become zero.
Sounds like the same logic breaking stuff to me.
Maybe ...

Won’t they just use standard computers to assist quantum computers to solve the problem of short computing time of a short lived quantum entanglement. The memory of a regular computer can serve as a backup and place holder for the quantum computer. Well, I don’t know, just a thought.

Bunk.
It's the modern day version of "remote viewing psychics".
An excuse for how intelligence agencies see all your secrets.
People who are still pushing this are either farming stupid for their funding, or they too, have fallen for the modern day snake oil, fearing if they say it makes no logical sense, then they will be outed for not being "intelligent enough" to understand it. These are the smart people, being tricked into ignoring their intuition because they want to belong. To fit in. They don't want to be ostracised from their peers. They need to grow a backbone and speak out, because remaining silent in these times leads us to mandated experimental therapies, and handing over your right to move freely without being coerced into shortening their lifespan..

Disagree? Well then let's try some natural selection. The ones who choose the right path will be left to populate the world. Go on, put your money where your mouth is.

Trotterization is not a specification of the model, that is a specific way of solving the problem. In fact, it's quite general. One can use it for any given Hamiltonian to do the quantum phase estimation experiment.
