when you use terms like starter and mid game it would be beneficial to share your definitions. My current definition of starter is anything used on the starter planet of Shattered Realm. and I am at level 20 or higher before leaving. My previous definition of starter was up to my first ship of any kind. I am not referring your descriptions of the items you will be looking at but a broader description of stages of the game. and how they are described. everybody uses the terms early game, starter, mid game, late game, endgame, but for the most part, they have no consistency from commenter to commenter or even from a single commenter over time.

With 8 grow plots you can make a ration pack. the way to do so, 3 spice plants, 2 Tomato Plants, 2 bud Plants, and one pearthing fruit plant. then obviously you have to farm the meat. but 8 is sufficient. and also makes all the grow times closer together, so they all ripen around the same time.

Thinking of putting my bps on workshop, only reason I have not is worry that someone else will take and reupload, how common is that?

Jenniphurr nailed it I love the forward planning of the different designs working together. Not to date myself but I love Voltron..cat Voltron not cars of course... so this definitely appeals to me

Hey Spanj and XCal, thanks for previewing mine. I would like to make a note that I did wind up re-doing it slightly to accomodate a large constructor over the small one as it's capable of making the Tier 2 drill whereas the smaller one is not. Even though it's more power hungry, I was willing to make the change anyways and deal with the higher power consumption while operating it for the benefit of getting that drill earlier in game since it's more crucial to resource allocation in my opinion. Curious to know what ya'll think.

2 vegetable plants, 1 fruit plant, 3 spice, 2 buds =8 plots. It's the formula I use for my rations too.

You can make a ration pack with 8 grow plots, 2 pumpkin, 3 spice, 2 buds, 1 fruit.

It is just sad this is what the game really is boring and building. So many years in Alpha and there is still nothing to do besides farm and build things. The factions are pointless the NPC ones. The game is badly optimized after all these years. PVP well very few servers have actual good PVP going on and sadly very few servers actually run the game well and it is HORRID when it comes to PVP battles so much lag which just makes PVP until the game runs better or servers get upgraded to better equipment beyond pointless and no fun at all. Enjoy building ships that look cool sitting on the ground

I love listening to your thoughts about building. It really makes me think about my own projects. Someday I will publish to workshop when I’m happy with a design that performs its intended mission.

The honorable mention base was, in my view, the best and I loved how the smaller vessel had it's very own special docking area.

What’s the link to submit starter CVs?

I don't know about the drones not attacking until you have defense. I have had alerts the moment I powered up the base. Different planets have a setting in the YAML for that. Also the solar panels he set up work best when aligned east--west.

If you make a capital ship with solar panels do they work on planet and space?

I spawned in the Outpost Alpha 9, it is a very fuel hungry base. I turned everything off except for 1 refrigerator and it still is pulling 10% power. I can't figure out whats going on with it. Added more solar panels and it's still burning fuel like crazy.

Great design by Jeniphurr .... Modular combination designs between CV + HV/SV and BA + HV/SV are the future in EGS me thinks.

Also that mini base with no roof is a winner ... its when you need it most (early game) and have no resources.
