Honestly, MTGGoldfish has been incredibly lacking for me in regards to Meta data and decklists and tournament data for EDH at the very least. There are a number of sites that do it better from what I've seen, albeit I'm still looking through more to see if I can find even more comprehensive or easy to use sources (hence I came to this video in the first place)

I feel like i just got out of an abusive relationship (Arena), and now I'm in a supportive one (MTGO). They're not even the same game.

I dont know if content creators ever check comments on old videos, but incase he does, thank you Professor for being so helpful and making videos that are easily digestible. You really helped me as a life long yugioh player, get into magic and understand the game well!

VERY much worth noting: both TappedOut and AetherHub have a feature that tells you what decks you can build using your already owned cards, which is INVALUABLE to me personally

Not even a mention of the Gatherer website? Granted, it's WotC's official online database of MtG cards, so I can understand how you may have some issues. But a "Complete Guide" really should cover all the bases, should it not? Personally, I find the Gatherer's Advanced search form significantly more powerful and flexible than Scryfall's, in particular the AND, OR, and NOT logical operaters Gatherer provides on its search fields.

Could you do a video just on phone apps? Im trying to find a good app to upload my collection that also interfaces with TCG pricing.

Is there anything like scryfall but you are able to upload your entire collection and it will only search cards in your collection vs all cards ever made?

Looking for the website that I can build the deck with 100 cards then use that 100 deck and add it to the cart so I can pay for everything to be shipped to me In a deck box

To me at least shopping at whoever has the best inventory is better than best prices. I can find better prices on tcgplayer but will be paying a few dollars of shipping on like every card I find. Maybe I just don't understand not sure.

I learned everything about Regex so I could maximize my use of Scryfall. Yes scryfall supports regex in it's search functionality. Yes it's amazing. Yes you can literally search for any criteria you can possibly imagine.

For phone users, I think another app that's an incredible resource for looking up cards not unlike Scryfall is ManaBox. It's super snappy and easy to use

For deck list sharing, I prefer DeckStats. They're a crisp, clean site with nice visuals and many different options for organizing your deck lists

I made a deck on moxfield and wantsd to buy it but shipping made my deck double the price i live in canada so im trying to find a way to make it cheaper any recommendations?

Thank you for the EDHRec recommendation. I'd never checked out their site before, but I just went there and found lots of great card ideas that I had overlooked for my Jaya Ballard & Kemba, Kha Regent commander decks.

The fact that salvation wasn't the first site mentioned makes me feel old.

I like to use deckstats for deck listing. It also pulls edhrec recommendations and allows you to print both full color and text-only proxries

Excuse me, Professor? ~ Do you know of any resources to acquire all my dice-based needs? I only need a handful of D20s and D6s and would like to have a color-coordinated set for all of my decks. However, if I want D20s I have to get all the others in a DnD set or just random bulk... I mean chessex has those little boxes of the D6s but there has to be something that offers a custom grab-bag! :<
