ОтветитьHey Ben so I've been watching more of your videos and got interested in following an actual training plan for a change :) Curious about the training plans you have put out on 10K and Half Marathon distances so I went to your website. Somehow the 8 and 12 week plans just link right back to the Training Plans page and not to the actual plans? Got the 6 week plans though. Thinking I might want to compare the 6-8-12 week plans that's why I ask. Anyway. Great vibes on the videos! Thanks to you and Mary. Winnie seems to be happy too ☺️ ... by the way I was using my phone for this so I tried just now using my laptop and, same thing ... I thought maybe a mobile platform issue but its also on the desktop (?). Cheers.

Great tips !!!! My friends have enrolled me in a half marathon! Unfortunately, I have 3weeks to get ready !!!! I’m doing ten k at the moment !!! May have to walk a bit !!! Work the covid and all that has been difficult to train !!!! Will do more S C too . Great video

ОтветитьSo I’m planning to run a half on 4/10. The plan I’m following has me running in time and not distance. I’m a slow, novice runner. I started training in early January after running off and on for a couple of years. My longest run so far in training has been a 5k and it took 48 minutes. Do you suggest I start following your plan instead so I get the distance in instead of time? The race is 51 days away. I’m using a half training plan through my garmin so the plan only shows three workouts out, which means I won’t know if it changes to focus on distance. I appreciate any advice you have to give.

I am going to plan the semi marathon to make a goal, I will start this program as soon as possible, maybe in next few weeks, wish me luck am gonna need it 😁 (43 years 25 years of smoking 89 kg)

ОтветитьHi, thanks for the plan. Pardon my ignorance but I had a question - While doing the longer distances, do they have to be done without stopping at all? I mean I have been able to follow the plan till now but sometimes I do end up taking breaks till my heart rate drops a little. I also do this because I have read that alot of distance athletes usually do that as well. Please guide.

ОтветитьThis has given me so much peace of mind! I was so worried because this super long training program I had, I was behind schedule with 7ish weeks until race day. This though, I can do! It's simple and straight forward. Doesn't make it hard like most plans! Thank you. I am not behind where I need to be at all!
