I find it weird that as a 6.1 guy,
I can't sit on a single ikea couch with my back straight on the backside, and my knees able to bend over the pillow. You can see the girl also has the same issue when they addressed the " when more upright seating is wanted", but exactly cut it off when she has those straight knees :)

I;m actually considering the FAMMARP, that supports your back and neck properly

I have the Soderham. Love the seat depth, but it's not a soft sofa that you can sink into.

kivik is terrible.. so uncomfortable. the only good thing about it is the removable covers.

I'm thinking of buying the landskrona 3 seater and armchair instead of the 3 seater chaise lounge, but have been told its a bit too firm. Anyone bought from this range and has an opinion on the comfort?

Buying 2-seated Vimle

thank you for the recomendations. We have 2 vimle Sofas , one doubles as a bed , the other one stands in the living room. I like it, but in a small living room it may be too big . Do you know PARUP, here in Germany it came out last year and lloks elegant and seems to be comfy

A collection of some of the worst sofas IKEA has ever produced. Those throw over covers look so cheap and tacky. Plus most of these sofas have seating that is too high for a deep sofa (my legs are a similar length to the model here — we’re not all tall Scandinavians!).

I have a Söderhamn armless sofa that I’ve actually been sleeping on for the past 6 years! It’s still as comfortable as it ever was, and it’s nice and low for shorter people. Big plus with the Söderhamn is that it has legs and visual space underneath it, making the room appear more spacious, and it’s great for vacuuming under there. I just wish some of its original high quality covers were still available. I have the dark grey. I love IKEA, but I think IKEA has lost some of its design talent. Pieces don’t have the magic proportion, colours, or simple styling they used to have, and most of their armchairs, even the simple ones, are way too high for me if I’m not wearing stilettos!

In terms of comfort, where would you rank the Söderhamn in this list?
