I never realized that there are so many self deluded singers ? in the UK. Is it a coincidence that the majority of them are strange looking or just plain ugly ?

Kylie hasn't a bad voice and she isn't the worst singer either. However, she needs lots of voice coaching. Her mother is going to ruin her life though - encouraging her to sing. I think her mother is living her dream through Kylie. Kylie is attractive with a polite and friendly persona and she needs to focus on something which she can do very well. She was so polite and sweet in the audition room but when her mother appeared, she changed into an aggressive and outspoken young woman. Just comes to show how much control her mum has over her.

Some of these people are worse singers than me, and I couldn't hold a tune in a bucket

These people are brave , I don't have the guts to sing in front of judges when I know that I can't sing.

It is amazing so many people don't know they can't sing or dance, or have family or friends who encourage them to think they can sing.

They are going to hell, all for TV. You will really sit in someone's face and burst out laughing while they are performing. Paula Abdul can't even sing she just had popular songs and she is trying to be as horrible as Simon. I have been a fan of hers for years until this show. Some of these people were serious and dreamed of this opportunity, televised garbage and bullying for having a dream.
