The Scientific Way to Improve your Art FAST! - How to Practice and Remember Efficiently

based on my experience in art, take breaks when you don't feel like creating, it can be a few days or a whole two months. if you just push - nothing will work as well and you will only get frustrated or dissapointed, leading to hatred towards creating. don't be scared of losing skill, you will lose more if you are too stubborn.
also, I feel like a lot of art "skills" that you just accure as you go, or things you learn about in process can and should be applied in daily life as well. it's actually so interesting, I feel like it's not talked about enough

This is why I don't like people saying ''just practise''. Just doing what you've been doing will refine what you already know, but it does not in any way make you better at art. And anything new that you learn will be purely by accident.

Problem is, being like Dave all the time is practically impossible, if you want to be like Dave then you will have to set up your own curriculum for learning. And if you don't know what you're doing because you're still learning this is almost undoable.
