Surefire wins again
ОтветитьLabel your dependent variable axis with a pertinent label instead of just “Value”
ОтветитьI wish you compared this to the Valkyrie Turbo LEP light!
Ответитьyou were drinking Fernet Branca with Coke ? great video!
ОтветитьIs that a Glock 47?
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI am extremely skeptical of using a gun light as a pain compliance weapon. What if a guy charges you when you were expecting him to be dazzled? You might be at a very close distance to him, and the moment it takes you to re-evalute the situtation, he's already on top of you. Pain compliance should only be used when there is no imminent threat, it's not your first line of defense against an imminent threat.
ОтветитьCan’t wait till Surefire figures out a way to use an 18650 in a pistol light, or two 18350’s.
ОтветитьIf I'm not mistaken, I would say, your drinking a grass of Guinness, and your feeling a lil buzzed?
ОтветитьAnother outstanding review & comparison! I have all of these lights (Unashamed Flashoholic) and find the X300T barely edging out the PL350 with PLHv2 head. The OKW head doesn't have enough spill for me. But ANY of these flashlights are better than not having one!
ОтветитьMy X300 Turbo just showed up today! Excited to do some low light training with it this weekend. I have several ultras and TLR1 HL’s that I’ll have to compare it to.
Ответитьawesome information
ОтветитьI'm confused. I watched your review of the Olight PL3 and you ripped it for dropping off from its peak output after a minute and a half (if I recall correctly). This light does the same thing, but this is your next weapon light? What am I missing?
ОтветитьHow does surefire’s turbo and ultra output change or not change when using the rechargeable vs disposable cr123 batteries?
ОтветитьSo the colour temperature of the new x300 turbo lights is cool white?
Is it cooler white than tlr 1 HL??
Curious where the PLH5K head fits in. That one made the most sense to me for the PL350. So far running great but def haven’t had to run it for 30min straight
ОтветитьDoes it have any battery safety circuits built in? Does it work with 3.7V li ion rechargeable batteries, or would they fry it?
ОтветитьX300 T...Excellent switch operation...PHLster switch mod makes them even better, IMO.
Momentary.
123 batteries are FAR easier to acquire in the wild !!
The Modlite is Sexy looking and works well with the OKW head...
X300 Turbo, switches, MOMENTARY, battery commonality, performance...= WINNER !!
Sir, have you done a video on the topic of rechargeable CR123 style batteries? Thank you.
ОтветитьThis is a lot of awesome information. How does it stack up to the TLR1HL?
ОтветитьThank you for the review!
...and mad props to a competing holster company sending you four examples of the new Surefire! 😲👍
If you picked a light today for your last light before the Zombie apocalypse what would you pick to put on your Rifle and Pistol?
Thanks for great content
I love my Turbo!
Ответитьnot to say I don't like the holsters because I'll try one soon im a big fan of t rex armes holsters and there lead time but heard your lead times are short to good job man .
Ответитьlol you make the holsters how much more biased can one be ?
ОтветитьMore Goonbeam please
ОтветитьIs their a size different between the ultra and the turbo?
Ответить+
ОтветитьThe fact that SF still hasn't jumped to 18350 is embarrassing.
ОтветитьSuper high quality content as usual, especially in regards to incorporating audience feedback. The "consistency" tests are especially informative. SF seems to still be putting out some really high-end lights despite the complaints that they (previously) were not focusing enough on candela.
ОтветитьJust ordered one. Also shed tear for my wallet. Looking forward to the smile on my face when it’s delivered.
ОтветитьDue to the issues with Modlite which extend to more than just their poor QC on their PML I never considered them the king. The TLR1-HL is great in throw and flood and lights up targets inside 100yds well. The new Surefire is something that might be a great competitor, and I will keep an eye on it until Cloud Defensive comes out with their light.
PS. I have a Modlite OKW on the main squeeze, I know they can make good lights. BUT there are other issues which made me decide not to purchase their products again.
The Streamlight TLR1-HL and TLR7A are still my favorite pistol lights because of the switches. However the quick release attachment system on the Surefire is convenient and it is what I use for my edc because I prefer a handheld light when I carry, but I put on the surefire at home.
Although I prefer surefire rifle lights like the 640DF far more than the streamlight models. However the HL-X is decent option, if not a little bulky.
Lumens and candela specs sounds alot like okw. I'm willing to bet they're using the same emitter. Osram W1
ОтветитьI have one of your OWB weaponlight holsters. I’d have one for every gun if it wasn’t so bulky. Great quality holster, just big
ОтветитьYou can monetary the modlight by slight pressing, just don’t press hard enough for click.
ОтветитьGreat vid! Been trying do decide on my next WML, this definitely helps. By the way I really like the less aggressive "rounded" claw y'all sent me to try. Werkz great and helps with general concealment especially with jeans. God bless and stay frosty friends 🙏
ОтветитьI just picked up the Turbo-A. I carry the handheld OKW. I was on night shift and compared both lights side by side To me, the hot spot on both appear to be the same I need a level3 holster for the Turbo and a Glock 21/iron sights. Any suggestions on holster? Thanks
ОтветитьDG switch: the other half of the X300...
ОтветитьI like it, BUT the Modlite still won me over simply because of the narrow light channel, rechargeable batteries, swapping them out without taking the light off, and the fact they're coming out with more heads in the future and surefire stuck with the integrated head that cant be interchanged.
ОтветитьDoes the X300 turbo fit the Glock 19 Gen 5.
ОтветитьAs far as I'm concerned, the king is still the TLR-1 HL. The modlite failed in your torture test, and I've seen one person's rail key sheer off like yours did in the test. Would not trust that especially at over 300$.
The candela on this surefire is a sight to err not behold since it might blind you lol.
Great video as always!

ОтветитьWhen are you going to start making holsters for G20s?
ОтветитьFor what they charge for it, hard pass!
ОтветитьI was comparing these two and couldn’t figure the difference. Thanks. Really Looking forward to the release of the Xr1 and Xr2 and insight??
ОтветитьLove the turbo
ОтветитьGreat video and review. I appreciate how you break down and analyze the technical details beyond just stating them like some others do. It is important to see the differences side by side.
I was suprised to see the pictures showed the X300T to be more floody than I was expecting, especially compared to the X300U. The 300U lives on my duty pistol, and I have been happy with it overall. I will admit though that this video does get me closer to picking up a Turbo, especially as it still fits in the same holsters! One thing I do wish Surefire would do is make their weaponlights compatible with rechargeable batteries. I don't enjoy having to go through disposables too much, but the pair of CR123s last me several months with my current usage so overall, it's only a minor annoyance.
