Something that I always do as Germany is justify on the East Indies to puppet them and annex Netherlands as soon as I have the PP. This tends to fix any rubber issues and eases the push into Belgium, not that it was ever hard.

One thing I think is good to do is start building oil refinery's early on. With the MEFO bills it makes them pretty cheap so I'll start adding those in my building queues at 37 along side my civ's. That's just me though.

If you want a fun game, do not do sealion as Germany. It makes the game far more interesting if you're facing D-Day, Italy etc while fighting the Soviets. Otherwise, its just too easy.
