The fact that they drink water (Lake Tiberius) means they are humans. The fact that they have eyes and faces means they’re human. The Hadith and Quran say that Dhul Qarnayn built a barrier between them and the rest of the world. The Hadith (in Kitab Al Fitan) that the gate was in Armenia. The earliest opinion of Dhul Qarnayn by the scholars was that it was Alexander the Great and there is a book called “The secrets of Secrets” written in ancient Syriac and translated to Arabic that describes Alexander building that wall and even the type of metal he used so the iron wouldn’t erode. It’s called “Asthenesite”. There is soooooo much more evidence for this that it’s really not even debatable at this point.
