I really hoped Transformers would do well. For me it's that one escape from Marvel, Star Wars, Disney and DC. I know theres others, but dang I love Transformers, one of my favorite series, I just want to see it do well.

I don't buy that you really believe that Mario is a better movie than Elemental, but for your theory to work, of course that fact needs to be hidden.

Showing Matt Damon when saying underpaying actors really makes sense. Guess something. Because you consider yourself a serious connoisseur. The fact that these films have such budgets is also due the responsibility of the actors, who earn salaries of 30, 40 and even 50 million per film! In addition to covid, actors are also very "guilty" coz they get crazy amounts (Will Smith got 40 million for King Richard!!!) which, if you just mentioned it to someone 30 years ago, 40 years ago, you would have been nailed to a cross. But before anyone nails me to the cross, I of course talk about Robert Downey Jr., Vin Diesel, Chris Prat and The Rocks, and Tom Hanks and of course this does not apply to every actor. But to say in general terms that movie actors are underpaid and underappreciated is, of course, absolutely ridiculous. The problem is the distribution of the money that goes to the actors. Leonardo DiCaprio got 30 million for Don't Look Up (2021) and 30 million for Killers of the Flower Moon (2023). Yes, you read that right. And of course then I also understand people who don't support or at least don't understand the strike. Because how can actors generally say or generalize that they are underpaid if DiCaprio made $60 million from two movies. For 3 months of work. I see more that these salaries are unfairly distributed, which is a problem with money in general. I believe that there are actors who barely survive or they are not decently paid for what they do (wast majority), but actors like Will Smith and DiCaprio do not benefit their argument (Smith, for example, in addition to the already mentioned 40 million for Richard, also cashed in 30 million for Emancipation). I would be ashamed to take 30, 40 million knowing that all the others who worked on the film (more than 1000 people) get 20 million TOTAL. And I find it fascinating that none of the strikers bring this up. How can a movie have a budget of 50 million and 30 million of it is given to a single actor. THIS IS DEFINITELY WRONG!
