Gibson just doesn't get it. Their guitars are so ridiculously priced that they end up as wall decorations for doctors/lawyers/etc.. Or someone buys one, subconsciously regrets it, and ends up attacking anyone who is rightly critical of Gibson (no matter how justified) whenever they see it because it brings that regret up to the surface. There is NO reason ANY new guitar should be over $1,000 unless it has precious materials in the construction (gold, diamonds, etc.).
Ответить13 grand.... It would have to be a "Chevy Gio 5 string". 33 M.P.G and seats 4.
ОтветитьThey will sell out. And double in price immediately. The Angus Young signed aged models listed at 8k in 2005. Never sold for less than 30k. And you simply cannot buy a real Gibson EDS 1275 for less tha 4k USD.
ОтветитьI wouldn't ever pay over a grand for a bass,,I love my bass guitars but I just don't see a reason to own one that HAS to be insured and costs more than my car,the spirit of rock n roll calls for taking as little as possible making the most of it aaannnddd sometimes destroying them in the name of performance,I'd hate to have that moment when I'm holding a 13grand guitar or bass
ОтветитьOr, the loop hole scenario (IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO SPEND) is to order a Gibson double neck custom shop without Slash’s signature on the headstock for about 6k less.
Ответитьwhat I can tell you is that this not the most expensive CS made by Gibson few examples, the Clapton Beano 20k, the Jimmy Page Double Neck 27k, the Jimmy Page number 2 Les Paul 25k is you want it signed and aged, just aged 12k. The Jimmy Page Signed Ebony 3 Pickup Les Paul Custom 27k. The Billy Gibons Pearly Gates 20k and that's just to name a few. SO NO! the Slash Double Neck is by no means the most expensive guitar offered by the Gibson CS.
ОтветитьAmerican Original Telecaster 50s & 60s
American Original Stratocaster 50s & 60s
Gibson SG Standard '61
Gibson ES-335
Martin D-28
Let me ask you something. How much will the car for 13k dollars cost in 10 years from now and how much will this guitar cost in 10 years from now?
ОтветитьI saw a nice cherry Epi 1275 with case for $550 down the street. Great condition. Figure add $1000 for a paint job, new pickups, vintage style tuners, complete setup with fret work. Now you have something that plays just as well, sounds amazing, and hey you just saved $11,000
ОтветитьI love the body style, cannot stand the relic, and I bet it sounds wonderful, and plays wonderful. However, like many, it will exist only in my dreams. I have no desire to save up 13K for this, I would rather buy a LP and call it a day. I am not a Slash fan, but the man can play, interesting addition to the availability in their sales line. If i get a chance to try one, I will.
ОтветитьI would get any guitar from PRS Private Stock.
ОтветитьI don't even wanna imagine restringing that thing.
ОтветитьOvercharged is an understatement and a half.
