Is "lightning has struck " not a direct reference to Harry's lightning bolt scar??
ОтветитьI love these rewatches that you do. It was fun rewatching these movies alongside you guys.
ОтветитьDoes anyone else think that Harry should have tried to use the elder wand to heal Neville's parents minds?
ОтветитьPLOT HOLE- When they get to hogwarts, they are in the room of requirement where the diadem is hidden- why doesn’t he hear it like all the other horcruxes?
ОтветитьWeird af goat joke lol
ОтветитьI have always thought Lily’s theme was sung by the Phoenix. I feel like Lilly’s theme sounds a lot like how the book describes Phoenix song
ОтветитьSometimes I wish people who advertise rocket money would actually bring up the fact that you have to pay for the app to do what is listed. It's by no means free.
ОтветитьLightning has struck refers to Harry’s lightning shaped scar. Why would it refer to the taro card? Sometimes y’all read too much into things.
ОтветитьAnd you skip the fact that as Snape disarmed the Caros by taking their wands on his way out.
ОтветитьCan you do a review of cursed child I've never seen it and I'm guessing a lot of people haven't either it would be great for you guys to explain it
ОтветитьI always assumed that Voldemort uses Nagini to kill Snape because he thought the elder wand belonged to him and would therefore backfire if the killing curse was used on its master
Ответитьsince harry horcrux died from avada kedavra does thzat mean all the horcruxes could be smayed that waay? or is it the elder wand who do the trick?
ОтветитьThank you for these Harry Potter videos! Made the holiday season even better!
ОтветитьI loved how Ralph yawned yelled the killing curse and I remember watching this movie with my friends in senior year of high school and saying Gandolf when Dumbledore showed up. Also I think you mentioned hagrid holding Harry in his arms when he believed him to be dead was symbolic to him when he left him with the Dursley’s
ОтветитьI’ve always felt the epilogue works. Jmo
ОтветитьThank you for your in depth analysis i really enjoyed it
ОтветитьCan you do a LOTR rewatch soon? We’ve just rewatched them over christmas and would love to hear any Easter eggs you’ve spotted… Although, I think most of us already know about Vigo breaking his toe 😂
ОтветитьWill be watching this series infinity times when I have nothing to watch. Love it!
ОтветитьI've always wondered why Voldemort never created more horcruxes once he realized his old ones were being destroyed, I mean he continued killing people along the way so wouldn't that have split his soul into more pieces?
ОтветитьThey also could rethink the oversentimentality of the epilogue… and maybe give us more
ОтветитьThe reason Voldemort kills Snape with nagini is because if the elder wand resists him, seeing as he believes Snape is the owner of it, it would be pointless to try and kill Snape with the wand that voldy believed was snapes. He can him him, but not kill him, hence why he used nagini. that's what I think the reason is.
ОтветитьThe reason Harry tells Neville about the snake isn’t that he probably thinks Ron and Hermione will die and will not have the change to kill it, it’s because of the “rule of the three” I remember from the books his explanation being something like : there must always be three in on the secret.
ОтветитьEczema Voldemort
Also given how popular white supremacy is, pretty sure slithering being the evil house is pretty poignant lol
Gina Ippolito is goated - what a fantastic researcher and writer!! THANK YOU🎉❤🎉
ОтветитьEmma Thompson and Helena are actually said to be good friends now
Ответить"Frou-frou" is pronounced "froo-froo," which is kind of amusing considering the context of the usage being a discussion of Snape's mispronounciation of "Pensieve."
ОтветитьI like the epilogue
ОтветитьIf harry snaps the elder wand and doesn’t repair his wand I will lose it
ОтветитьI am so incredibly sad that this series is over!! Great job guys
ОтветитьI’ve always felt that Draco should’ve been the one to destroy the diadem. For one thing it brings together a good redemption arc. Also, the fact that it’s the room of hidden things, a big source of his trauma in the 6th book, would’ve been a chefs kiss. Crabbe being one of the people to destroy a horcrux has always annoyed me. Should’ve been Draco.
ОтветитьI loved everything about this - Thank you !!!
ОтветитьThis final piece of the saga still hit me in the feels and reminded me just how much I loved this story, and how much it pains me that it now feels tainted.
I LOVED growing up with some of these characters and their portrayals. And they were made with such love, too. But I guess now I just am left with the old saying of don’t live old enough to meet your heroes kind of thing I guess lol kudos to you and the team for filling me with that nostalgia
🥃🎬🫡
ОтветитьPretty sure Harry uses Relashio in the 4th movie when freeing people under the lake.
ОтветитьPlease stop saying "fart cloud."
ОтветитьAnother room of requirement: Harry needs to go to the Forbidden Forest to meet Voldemort without Ron and Hermione knowing. They never would have let him go alone. They repeatedly told him they were in it together and he knew they would have went with him. It’s also an emotional scene to read and I would love to see it
ОтветитьHell of a rewatch!!
ОтветитьThank you for doing this rewatch series! It was so fun to watch. And now I want to reread all the books!
ОтветитьI was thankful for the epilogue. I hope they keep it.
Ответитьi am not sure why this video first said it was "locked" for mmbers only. I went to check the others that I've already watched for free and they were fine. Then I came back and it started as normal. Really weird glitch?
Ответитьi always love snape no scoping the carrows.
ОтветитьOliver Wood isn't protecting Hogwarts, he's just taking vengeance on those that destroyed the Quidditch pitch. Prove me wrong (/s).
ОтветитьYea Jenny was never right for Harry and Ron was never right for Hermione
ОтветитьWe thought we would end this series with a “tortured to the point of insanity” bit that actually paid Neville Longbottom some respect.
Ответить
