I hate the term "content creator" but I found this audio and thought it summed up the life of a *creative* pretty well. I write, I draw, I sew, I tell stories. In all honesty, I don't really want to go viral. My goal is to find friends, to write things people might remember, to help readers discover their next favorite book, to help writers find their next loyal fan, to share a message for the glory of God, not for my own fame.

I turned 23 a couple weeks ago, and I'm really proud of what I've accomplished in the last year. I think I've only gained about a couple dozen followers, I still hate making reels/shorts, and I probably always will. But since February 9th 2022, I finished a book and sent it to a new round of beta readers, started a YouTube channel and met a bunch of super cool indie authors through ARCs, interviews, book fairs, and live streams, and maintained posting consistently twice a week. I always have big plans and schemes but today I'm reminding myself that I'm still young and I have time to make my dreams come true.
