I miss old era... the game boy advance + game cube, DS + Wii, 3DS + Wii U... I'm still not a fan of nintendo switch's idea of merging both type of console. bruh I'm 27 male now. I don't carry ds or 3ds outside anymore lol.

Yeah and take up more and more space as time passes make me happy that brands like Xbox offer up to 5tb more expansion plug into back of it. While Nintendo switch OLED uses microSD cards bad news PlayStation may allow memory upgrade but might void warranty and it protection plan.

Having physical media is better, especially after seeing companies like Sony JUST REMOVE CONTENT YOU PAID FOR. Better to own than to pay as a service.

If people buy digital, you won't have any Buyer's to buy you're games. Over time physical games will have no value, making them obsolete. Like cassette tapes and beta max.

Nintendo gets boring after a few years. Expensive ass games, low quality, nothing is free, and the way their system operates. I might take a look at steam deck before switching to it.

Switch games are definitely expensive but I prefer buying them new rather used and i can find some switch games for decent prices on eBay which is the best place to look and what’s interesting is that 3rd party Switch games are a bit cheaper than Nintendo or Nintendo developed Switch games.

The games are good enough to live up for their price, still they are expensive as hell. Still, I don't regret buying a single one, especially exclusives

Bethesda went out of their damn minds by selling $70 for the 10-year-old game with its Anniversary Edition while PlayStation and Xbox versions of Skyrim Anniversary Edition are 50 dollars.

it especially annoys me when on other playforms its cheap or even free but for some odd reason its expensive on switch.. what makes them think im gonna buy a game i could literally play FOR FREE 😐

$300 in Switch would get me 5 AAA games. $300 in Steam would get me 5 AAA games + 20 other games.

So, I only just got a Nintendo Switch for Christmas a couple of days ago, and when I tried to buy games for it, I found that the only two I was dedicatedly interested in (Zelda: Breath of the Wild and SSB), were both still being sold for $60. I asked how that's even possible, and was told that Nintedo claim that their first party games- and this is a direct quote from the sales rep, quoting Nintendo- "... do not depreciate value."

as a old gamer its really sad to have only digital copy of game because if your account will got suspansion or penalty/ban you'll ended up by not having access anymore and that is sucks also opening ur favorite game from the box and smell and touch that cartridges and putting into slot is something that gives unique feelings.. one is like LDR other one is physical love..

theres always new repro PREMIUM HARDWARE to mimic my PAST EXPERIENCE, better & cheaper each year,
as proven by HISTORY, PSN & online gaming service server NEVER taken down, EVER.
I have PIECE of HISTORY I can SHARE the story to mafamily, mafriends.
also,

All these so-called collectors do is make games harder to get for people who just want to play them. The cartridges were built to be abused. Stepped on, stolen by dogs, tossed into backpacks, thrown out of second storey windows into swimming pools, not coddled and treated like precious historical objects.

I was at a game store one time where the guy was trying to sell a kid a game for some exorbitant price. So I told the kid's father, right in front of the sales guy, that I had the same game, and if he was willing to meet later that day, it was his for $10.
