I'm about to graduate with a degree in Graphic and Interactive Design. I was curious if anybody has any advice for how to work my way into UX? It seems to be in high demand and expected to keep growing, but I live in a small town where there's barely any graphic design let alone something as specific as UX. A big move isn't an option for me right now. I noticed there were a lot of ways to get into this field (anything from tech to having a psychology background), so what entry level positions could I get to be exposed to this type of career? I know competition is high for UX also, but that's where I'm hoping my graphic design degree will come in and make me stand out from those who just have a couple of certifications. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I despise this type of "day in the life" video. Why on earth would we need to know about your skincare routine, what you eat or what you do in your free time? 🙄 I found out nothing about what the work actually consists of. Complete & utter waste of time. Not sure how so many people like this. I guess they're all into the fluff.

This bootcump is super intense since it is only 3 month full time and cost around $14000, my questions is is it worse it or better to go for springboard where same bootcump last 6 months? and I wonder what bootcump or school did you take and how long it took you to find your first UX UI job?

I don't know why but I just love the office atmosphere. Working on something that I already love (graphic design) then sharing it with co-workers and evaluating it just seems so cool to me. Definitely my dream job.

I'm currently doing the google certificate for UX design and really enjoying it, i feel i have finally found a job i can see myself doing and enjoying long term. this video makes being a UX Designer look like a lot of fun and makes me even more motivated to study.
