good animation, bad design concept.
Tokyo Mitsubishi raja ridu
Amazing
Why don't you make an real project?....
Please keep music out of vids, This is an intelligent design & folks don’t appreciate the added music.
Thanks.
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I have design one similar but it a 2 speed for my project. And it need a lock and pulley ideler wheel on the slacker side, or bottom on mine.
Guys I have a question. Wouldn't this work if it was a regular belt instead of v ribbed?
Ответитьgreat
It will be so much vibration
Ответитьmagnificent
In high speed, belt teeth and pullies holes, won't exactly FIT.
Will wear out in 1 Mile.
After 300-500 rpm starting vibrassion. Not logical
Guy🌹🌹🌹👍
ОтветитьUh
First thing wrong is it's belt not gear driven. Belts will break, or stretch, ect. Your going to have problems. The car makers don't care. They no longer make cars to last. 75% plastic. Death traps. Yeah the old battle wagons, big cars of the 60, and early 70s drank gas, but you didn't have belt driven transmissions. Who's stupid idea is this?? But you sheepeople the blame for it. They make it, you sheepeople buy it without and questions about how many miles before you have to change the belt. Like a lawnmower!!!! Car makers don't care if these car are going to last. They build em to throw away after a couple years and you sheepeople never get the. Paid off. It's all planned out. Buy junk, you get junk!!!
Kudos to the ingenuity, but too many moving parts. Plus oil and seals are involved, opportunity for leaks.
Even if it did work it wouldn't work for long. That's a lot of unnecessary moving parts. Let's just go with the proven method
Great applied to a bicycle!
Golf cart transmission with a big rubber band on it HA HA HA HA!!
This design is a disaster, ask any
machanic. Made by Jatco and always
failing after 100,000 miles.
traslate to spanish: traccion continua.
This is brilliant, for sure. But the fact that the outdrive has to move towards or away from the source as the gear ratio changes makes it impractical for many applications.
Harmonics, control and all that aside, biggest issue I can think of is the fact that it would have extremely little contact area of the belt on the driven side. The amount of power you’d be able to transfer at the driven side would be near nothing compared to the belts theoretical designed rating. Contact area and pulley wrap is everything in a belt drive, especially a cog belt, and this design has literally none of it at the driven end
Christ they make eight speed automatics nowadays if you need more than eight gears than you've got bigger issues going on.
Ответитьnow you just need an engine that slides sideways
Just trying to figure out what this would be used for, a motorcycle transmission comes to mind. But, it does have some flaws. Too many moving parts.
What's it going to hook to though? your output/input shafts move.... Going to find a fit for something that can use that is going to be hard.
Centrafug compressia?
Ответитьbrilliant, this just may save the cvt. does anyone know if there is a mechanical seal at the oil input or a labyrinth type
Saying the rubber band broke wont be a joke anymore
Um, this is not what a CVT looks like at all, this mechanism would just fly apart unless it’s for a bicycle?
This mechanism will not work as envisaged in the figure. I can't speak English. It's meaningless to write a complete explanation. You won't understand. I am a technician with 20 years of experience. I tell you that this mechanism does not work. The speed at the outlet will jump continuously, and when six pistons are connected, the belt will wedge in a specific position.
A lot of free good comments.
Quite fine but transmission ratio is not constant for given shape oh hexagon wheel. Cvt is better here.
What animation tools used for this demo?
Whats the point of those 6 small gears? If they can be rotated freely, then they wont drive the belt. Aside from that, the design seems to be very bulky.
